"Workers arrived on time. French Drains were installed first and then came back to do encapsulation. Showed me all the stuff that was in the crawlspace, bricks, old tools, and parts to stuff that had been replaced. Now have plastic and guaranteed for 10 years."

"I know others have complained about the price and so I contacted our local water testing company for costs. My local company wanted to charge me for individual testing of all the things Environmental was charging me a flat fee for. With my local company I was well over $600 to cover the same testing Environmental was doing for around $200. They sent me the bottles to ship my liquid in and provided me with a free shipping container to send back to them. I didn't have to pay the return postage. I think the entire transaction from placement on Angies List to a report in my hand was about a week or week and a half. I called the number they gave to have someone go over my report with me, which was great. We did have to mitigate a few issues based on the report. Overall, I am completely satisfied and will probably used them on a yearly basis or so for our well testing.
"

"Contacted Johnson Plumbing and they were able to respond the same day to repair cut natural gas line. The employee appeared new and called his office throughout his work for over the phone procedures on how to fix the problem. He left twice to go get supplies because he did not get the right parts on the first trip. I was given an estimate of $530 to repair due to expensive metal couplings. The metal couplings were not the right size and were replaced with plastic couplings on the second trip for supplies. Once completed, I was given a price of $578.68. I questioned Mr. Johnson about the price since the expensive couplings were not used. Mr. Johnson gave me an arrogant attitude and tone in his voice about his expenses. He did agree to the original estimated price of $530. I did express my feeling that I felt his high price was based on the and quot;crisisand quot; the customer was in and not based on true operating expenses and normal repair prices. Neither Mr. Johnson nor his employee denied this. I will not use Johnson Plumbing again.
"

"Kim called me to find out what I was looking for and I explained I
wanted a water analysis and a recommendation on equipment if needed.
Boone was available and came out the same day, tested my water,
explained what was needed and gave me a quote. Meeting Boone is a real
experience. He is totally down to earth, very knowledgeable and great to
just talk with. I accepted his proposal and a week later he was back
and installed the system. The reverse osmosis system under the sink
developed a leak because of a manufacturing defect. Boone immediately
called the company, got a replacement and installed it a few days later.
The whole system has been in operation for about 2 months now and I am
completely satisfied. I have good soft water and no more orange/red
stains in the shower and sink.
I can highly recommend Water Specialists of the South and Boone for all your water needs.
"

"They were very professional and service was done quickly. When I told them I had no water, the owner told me he would do his best to get someone out to my property as soon as possible on short notice. I live in the country and they were able to get to me within a few hours. They were friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time with me to see that my well was working properly before leaving.
This is the second time I have used them and I will continue to use them. I have a water purification system I want to install and I will definitely be using this company again.
If he feels there is something he cannot do or that his company does not do he will not hesitate to let you know. He said he doesn't want to charge any fees to the customer if it's not needed and he knows his company does not do it. I personally appreciate this attitude.
"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Dry-branch, GA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
