"I posted prior review at time he began- He is more than likely better for small projects, not large scale. He started off wonderful, although this was not a small project, he committed to work he claimed experience and then had difficulty. At first he showed daily, worked hard until about 65% completed and he had been paid 2/3 of job- then he committed to coming, no show. I would contact claimed personal errands came up then committed another time no show. This occurred 3 days in row. There were other days he was frequently on phone, stating calls other jobs. Unreliability is an issue for me. This task dragging on too long. He claims distracted other tasks helping me, this is true and do take into consideration, although his lack of experience in a task made it take longer than should have taken. My husband was a contractor ( he passed ) so I am not unfamiliar with Const tasks I am not being unreasonable. He is more than likely great on small job- day or two- handling a larger project he begins to become unreliable. He has many skills, this job should been nothing for him- although he overcommits and lets personal issues affect concentration."

"My past experience with handyman have paled in comparison to Botellos. Botello has gone above and beyond with the tasks I had to be completed. We have the outside of the house transformed with new paint and woodwork repairs. New screen doors and door installation on all three (3) buildings on my property. As well one of my houses required various modification for handicap. This is following the codes set by the state .of California. "Esteban did a small job for me at first, he did so well I called him back. He now provided me with an excellent hall repair and brought the floor up to same height as the adjoining room and patched the walls up. He managed to raise the floor up to proper height so the two rooms would be flush together. He provided us recommendations what he would do for himself that me and my wife never considered. With his eye, his style, knowledge and suggestions; they were well received, we accepted and we added his suggestion to our major job and it was a great idea. The job looks quite good and by far a handyman job, Esteban is so capable of doing so much more. I will invite him back over again to do two more rooms and a hallway for us. He is very professional, provides great suggestions and will give it a more finished look. I trust his work and what will be accomplished."
