"As spring time is approaching, I been contemplating for Many years to upgrade the front of my house. Concrete was chipiping driveway was loose and I enjoy having fresh air during the beautiful weather. This year I received multiple quotes from different concrete companies. Lyons Family Construction from the moment they came out for the estimate to this exact day I can't thank them enough. Very professional first and foremost! Secondly, he sent me an invoice within the very next day of estimate and thoroughly explained all my options as I explained what I wanted done. We locked in on the contract, and with the amount of work I got done I was shocked on how fast they finished the job. I'm getting so many compliments on my block and also random people driving down the street stopping to tell me how amazing the front of my house looks. I will definitely be using this company again! If you're interested in any concrete work in the area please contact Lyons Family Construction as you won't "

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Dublin, PA

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
