"They came in with their team and went right to work. Only a portion of the basement needed to be waterproofed. They drilled out a 10-inch wide portion of the concrete floor, put stones, pipe, more stones and re-concreted that portion of the floor. Painted that wall with waterproof paint leaving me the rest of the painting to do (my choice). Drilled a hole at the bottom of each cinderblock which drained into a grey baseboard material which then drained into the pipe and flowed into the sump pump. Replaced the old basement window and placed concrete around it. Installed a sump pump, placed the pipe through the wall, placing the water exit pipe into a flower bed. Adding a circuit breaker dedicated to the sump pump. They described everything they were going to do prior to the job and everything they did at the completion of the job. Also, explaining how the sump pump worked. The total cost was $4200.00. The best part they cleaned up after. Oh and before they did anything they placed plastic all around so as not to ruin anything in the basement. I did not have to lift a finger."

From the minute they arrived, AJ was like a maestro conducting his very capable crew to establish a containment area to prevent dust and debri from permeating the rest of the house. AJ and crew made short work of jack hammering the floor, tunneling under the existing paneled wall without disturbing the paneling and trim. This alone saved me a few thousand dollars on repair and replacement. His crew continuous swept and discarded debri to ensure a clean work area.. Without even asking, his guys installed the drains for our furnace condensation line, softener and dehumidifier within the french drain system. The coup de gras was a meticulous cleanup, which included wiping down the floor and walls, making it cleaner than when he started! I highly recommend AJ for all your waterproofing needs. Mike stayed in the house and made sure things were going back to level while Chris and Brady made adjustments underneath the house. they cleaned up when they were done, and they cleaned up their workspace so well that you couldn't tell they were even there. We also have peace of mind knowing that we have a service plan with them so that if something goes wrong, AFS will be there for us. Definitely check AFS out for all of your foundation needs. "This company did a first class job solving a basement foundation water infiltration problem in our commercial office building in Upper Bucks County, PA. A project manager came out to assess our situation; he came up with a proposed solution on the spot, provided us with a written proposal and sample photos of other similar work they had done. The work required excavating a small portion of the foundation on the exterior and filling a crack in the foundation wall down to the footers. The crew came out as scheduled and completed the job in a single day as predicted.
