Richard was quick to respond to my inquiry, quoted a fair price, and connected me with a fellow contractor to handle the necessary carpentry before he could get started. Richard and his partner did excellent work, left our home neater than they found it, and followed up to ensure we were satisfied with the project. There were two areas where the plaster/paint settled in an imperfect manner (we provided old paint), and Richard returned to refinish those areas at no additional cost. Great value."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Larry Doyle repaired the damage to the ceiling and wall. He installed new drywall in both areas and left it looking as if there had never been a leak. He came back twice following the repair to put additional coats of plaster over the new drywall and then smooth it out. He did an excellent job, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of repair."

Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. "Sam was excellent! We were in a jam and needed someone quickly to cut a large hole in our (100 year old house) plaster ceiling so emergency plumbing could be worked on. He was able to work us into his schedule so we wouldn’t be without water for the holidays. The work is excellent! Our ceiling is more level now than before he started! John does great work and has the experience and correct tools to properly sand the new spackle w out getting any drywall dust in the air. - He used a large specialty sanding disc w a shop vac connected to it. Which was a very fast and clean way to get the work done. - Credit should be given to any craftsman who invests in the right equipment for the job. As well as being able to do the drywall repairs AND paint. It's was not easy to find someone to do both. He supplied the paint. It was a perfect match using new paint made up w the old Sherman Williams color code. I would recommend hiring Dominic's Painting for any drywall repair, painting and/or skim coating."

"Really excellent from start to finish. Luis came out to give an estimate right away. He gave us feedback on color choices and also work that didn't need to be done in order to save money. Work was scheduled in less than a week. The workers came on time & did a great job. They didn't speak much English, but Luis kept in close contact to make sure everything was going well. They did extra things such as repairing a rotting sill that was not part of the job. At the end, Luis realized that he hadn't given me an Angie's List discount, and knocked $100 off the price."
