"They cleaned the brushes on the side of my wood fence and left it really shiny. Instead of putting the stuff under the gate when they stained it, they put it all down on the pavers so that was a mess. It’s disintegrating little by little. They said that they could call the pavers out and remove the fence but told them I just can’t go through that right now. You can tell the difference between the side that they stained and the other fence so we wanted somebody to come in and paint it. The guy that took over was trying to rectify a lot of the stuff that was going on. The guys that did the job left a mess."

"I do not write many reviews because we use so many providers. However, Bill from C&J Fence really stands out. I did not use this company initially and had lots of other companies look at my gates. But However, most of the companies just wanted to replace all of my gates instead of repairing/altering them. Bill is very reasonably priced and does high quality work. The only drawback is that he is so popular that he is backed up for months. We need new fencing and some fence moved. I will not make the same mistake twice. I am going to wait a couple of months for Bill and his son to do it. Highly recommend!"

"The first day they cleared the area and stowed materials that were drop shipped to the street. The second day, the old fence was removed and the posts were set. The third and fourth days the new fencing and gates were installed. The work area was always maintained neatly. <br />"

"Mr. Jesus Covarrubias of JC Landworks (619.591.3477) did the following at my residence in Tierrasanta: <br /> - Removed all existing lawn, shrubs, & fence. <br /> - Constructed two masonry retaining walls with stucco finishing, one retaining wall was about 40 feet and the other was about 160 feet. <br /> - Poured two raised 8' x 10' pads of concrete for construction of sheds in a field of colored concrete. <br /> - Constructed colored concrete steps to a large landing that allows entrance to front door or side door. <br /> - Designed a great looking meandering walkway from the side of the house to the new landing at the top of the steps, to the front of the house. <br /> - New six foot fence out of redwood with gate. <br /> - Developed a landscape drawing showing the newly constructed hardscape, the ten tons of blue granite rocks,  and a plant layout. <br /> - Planted a Hong Kong Orchid tree and dozens of plants among rocks. <br /> - Installed drip irrigation to all plants. <br /> - Installed proper drainage throughout entire yard. <br /> The above items were done in the front and side yard.  There was also substantial work done in the backyard, including: <br /> - Removed plants in the backyard, two very large trees, and readied backyard for new drip line installation. <br /> - Installed new raised colored concrete pad beside BBQ island to match existing concrete. <br /> - Installed new redwood gate. <br /> - Planted a tree <br /> So it's obvious there was a significant amount of work accomplished.  I don't want to make this review too long by going into the detail of each item accomplished (e.g., about how solidly and straight the retaining walls were constructed), but it was all done very professionally with no surprises, on schedule, and we we were very happy about what we got for our money.  It was really nice to get all the walkers making comments about the job.  The contractor got several more jobs from local residents that were watching the work being accomplished. <br /> <ul> <li></li> </ul>"
