The job included designing/redoing our frontyard bed, installing downspouts, building a 330 square foot backyard patio bordered by a dry creek, installing natural stone steps leading up to the patio, and designing/executing new backyard landscape beds. Our backyard - which is on a slope and not a huge space to begin with - looks out onto a shared driveway. Given that, my wife and I struggled with how to create a sense of privacy in our backyard without having a fence installed. Of all the professionals we met with initially, Ben, our Project Manager and Connor, who did a lot of the design work, had the clearest vision of how to get it done. Both were mindful and in tune with what was important to my wife and I. Both were creative in working within the parameters of our space to deliver what is in my opinion, the very best job that anyone could have done. Big credit to the the teams that came out and did the work as well, Cheto included. The results are stunning and my wife and I couldn’t be happier."

It was completed quickly and when there was a minor issue that cropped up within 4-months due to bad stones from the quarry, they came back to replace asap. 100% confidence and would hire again. "We bought and paid for a tree, and found out they sold it to someone else when we called to schedule delivery!-- We purchased a tree for a special occasion and paid for the tree and delivery up front. However, when we called to schedule delivery and planting, we were informed that Merrified had put our tree back out on the lot and sold it to someone else! Yes, we paid up front, saw them tag the tree with our name, were told they would hold it for us and take good care of it, and had talked to the staff in detail about the delivery timeframe which was even written on the receipt and circled. This was particularly disappointing because we had spent hours looking through the trees and had finally found the one that we wanted. Merrifield took our hand-selected tree that we had already purchased, and then sold it again to someone else without even the courtesy of a phone call or contacting us. During this ordeal, we had a glimmer of hope when they said they had found “our tree”! But this was soon to be squashed as they had just picked another tree and stuck our name on it. No, Merrified: Each tree is unique and has its own character, and you can’t sell the same tree to multiple people and then just replace them with another tree that happens to still be on the lot. We picked Merrifield because we thought we would get a great product and professional service. Unfortunately, Merrifield does have the premium prices, but is severely lacking when it comes to customer service. We won’t be returning to Merrifield after this unnecessary and extremely disappointing experience."
