The job did take twice as long as originally estimated but there were circumstances with the original windows that could not be forseen. "I had him do several small jobs and one bigger job. The small jobs were hanging ring towel holders in two bathrooms, hang a smoke/c.o. detector, replace a piece of siding outside. The big job was installing a new disposal. A couple days later my dishwasher wasn’t working so I called a company to come fix it. But after giving it some thought I decided maybe it had something to do with the new disposal. And sure enough, it did. So I had to cancel the repair people and called Handyman Helper back. And they realized the problem immediately and sent the guy back on Monday morning to fix it. He said he hadn’t done one in a long time so he mistakenly left off a major thing to connect to the water outlet from the dishwasher. It was an honest mistake and I was extremely pleased that it was taken care of so quickly. It just caused a minor inconvenience with the dishwasher because I had to get out the water standing on the bottom that couldn’t drain out before it was fixed."

Tony and his crew painted the exterior of a home I own in the Midtown Historic District in Harrisburg.  At the beginning of the project, they discovered rotted window frames and notified me quickly.  After I had the damage corrected, they went on to paint the siding and all the wood trim on this 1880's home.

I was very happy with the result.  The painting they did was absolutely perfect!  It looks fabulous, and several neighbors have complimented the job and asked for the contractor's info.

Royce came out to do an estimate, was very thorough and explained everything to me, but he also patched some spots to hold me over until I can hire him to replace the roof. I've had others come out that use high pressure sales tactics, but Asociados was nothing like the that. Simply told me what needs to be replaced, what can be repaired and what parts of the roof are still ok, honest and to the point. I will definitely hire him and would give him 6 stars if I could!"

"We purchased an 1880's era row home in downtown Lancaster. It had been rental property for many years and needed a lot of restoration. We'd had Lancaster Contracting do the roof last year, and asked for a quote on restoring the second floor porch this year. The porch itself had seen years and years of neglect. It was literally rotting off the side of the building!
They came and gave us a very reasonable quote (we'd had 2 other competing quotes done that just seemed like triage, instead of restoration). We accepted their quote and they went to work. They literally stripped the entire structure down to the original hand-hewed oak timbers  -- the skeleton of the structure, which was still in good shape -- and rebuilt the porch from the beams up. 
The project was a complete success, and we're thrilled with our porch!
The team from Lancaster Contracting was great  - professional, friendly, responsive, considerate, and their work was wonderful. They had to remove the entire original porch - which runs across the back and down the side of our house - and replace the floor and underside of the porch, the porch ceiling, the supports, the railings, the screens, the door, the ceiling fixtures, ornamentation, everything - and we couldn't be happier with the results. Their attention to detail was amazing, and their prices are fair. They were flexible with changes that came up during the project, and were very responsive to questions throughout the process. We felt sad when the project was completed, because they felt like family! Of course, with this being a 130+ year old home, we'll be having them back for more projects.
