"Used this service through the summer for basic mowing on my yard.  I'll start with the good first.  They definitely made sure that my lawn was mowed once a week.  Now on to the rest.  Asked multiple times to have the crew raise the mower blades so that they weren't cutting my grass so short & to stop edging to the ground around the house & other obstacles.  The mowing issue was that they were cutting the grass so short that it was dying & turning brown.  The trimming was even more destructive.  Basically, they trimmed all the way to the ground so every object they trimmed around now has a ring of dirt instead of grass,  I called & spoke to the owner about this & he said he would speak to the crew to remedy the situation.  Next week, same crew, same results.  Contacted owner again.  Was told that he would address it with the crew again.  Next week, same crew, same results.
Definitely do not recommend for any lawn service from this company as they have made a wreck of my yard.

"I am in the process of re-seeding my front lawn and hired George to do some grading and spreading topsoil. I would highly recommend this company.  George was very professional and thorough.  I would definitely hire George again and would recommend others contact him for your landscaping needs."

"I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I am pretty pleased with their service because there is a lot of grass growing where he did his work. My brother looked at the way he put top soil next to the house and decided the top soil was too high so I had to take it down a level; I had to re-do part of it. But the part that he did is growing grass and I think he did quite a bit of work for the amount of money I gave him; I am not unhappy with that one. I am not sure he knows what kind of seed he used because the first time I asked him what seed he used he told me one brand and then I asked him again at another time and he told me another brand. The reason I asked is because I wanted to buy the grass seed, but was out of town. My yard looks a little funny where he planted the new grass but it may be okay. I thought his pricing was very reasonable. He was nice and tried to please but I am just not sure how much he knows about landscaping. I told him their were some junky plants in my yard that I did not care about and that he did not have to move but there was one Clematis I did care about. I came back from my trip and the junky plants had been re-planted in my front yard and the Clematis was gone. He had not understood my directions. I also wanted him to fill in a hole next to my house that was causing poor drainage with heavy fill dirt. When I came home from my trip and looked, it was filled with pieces of rock and brick; which is exactly the opposite of what I asked him to do. He came back and fixed that. I don't know what times he worked. I sent him several email complaining about this and that and I think that he remained professional in his answers to me."

"The products they used worked great. It improved my lawn and weeds were killed quickly Will us again this season."

"We were in the process of preparing a home for sale. While the home presented well, the yard did not. The previous owners decided that they wanted a small orchard in their front, back and side yards. They had also let all of the flower beds around the home go and they were all over grown with weeds.  This poorly affected the curb appeal of the home.  We got two estimates for the work we wanted done and chose EarthWorks. We dealt with Eric who was very responsive with the quote and with meeting us to go over all of the things we wanted done. We had him remove about 35-40 small fruit trees from the yard.  His men cut off the trunks level with the ground so that we could mow more effectively. His men also removed all of the weeds, leaving what flowers were there buried under the weeds from all of the flower beds. They treated the weeded areas with a weed killer and then mulched over the beds. They also pruned several smaller trees that we decided to leave in the yard.
His men started on a Saturday and even within a couple of hours I could see an improvement. They worked all of Saturday and by the end of the day had all of the trees out and all of the beds weeded and mostly mulched.  They returned the next week to finish the job.  I did have to have him cut a couple of the trees a little lower than his men had left them, but overall we were very pleased with the outcome. They also went into the easement behind the yard and trimmed the slight overgrowth in that area. When they were done, the yard looked very professionally done.
We would use them again if the need arose."
