"Built to Last Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had them remodel her kitchen. First I hired them to paint a steep stairway to the upstairs, along with the upstairs landing (built their own scaffolding) and install railings. Their work was very professional and I can't belief how good it looks! Next I had them completely remodeled the bathroom in coordination with a plumber and electrician. Tom and his wife Ann went shopping with me for bathroom fixtures but because the bathroom is so small nothing seemed like it was going to work out. Tom actually ended up building a linen cabinet, sink base and medicine cabinet with a lighted mirror to fit. The quality of the wood and workmanship is outstanding! I am also hiring them for other projects. They are always very thorough and kept me informed on all aspects of the projects. I recommended them to a friend who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"High price per hour. Made sure to walk downstairs for every nail to add time to job. Took 25 minute break and was going to charge me for it until I complained. Made me sad they are local. I thought they would be more ethical."

"Aaron came out and gave an estimate to have our deck cleaned, power washed, then stained. I got another estimate, but it was higher. After I gave him the go-ahead, he and his crew were out the next morning to get the deck all prepped and power washed. We had a lot of mildew on the deck and they worked hard to remove all of it. He even power washed my big, old and very dirty flower planter, which I didn't even think was possible to clean. Then a few days later, they were out to stain the deck, which is pretty big, with build-in benches and flower boxes, 4 different levels and a large slatted overhang, which is very hard to access. The vast majority of the staining was done by hand, with 2 coats on all of the flat surfaces. They had 4 guys here most of the time, and it took them at least 10 hours to get it all done. Everything looks great & we are very pleased."
