"Early Saturday evening we lost water. I called our regular well company immediately but did not receive a return call. I understand, not everyone wants to work on the weekend but by 5:45 AM Sunday AM we were fairly miserable. Carrying water from the swimming pool over hardwood floors in order to refill toilets is not my idea of fun. I put in a call on a Sunday morning a bit after 7:30 AM to Bay Area Pump and Wesley texted back almost immediately. He asked if between 10:00 - 10:30 AM was ok (I was thrilled) and was at our house at 10:00 AM. The problem was ants had gotten in the well's electric box. I asked if we should have the well serviced regularly and he said no, just spray to keep the ants down. Wow, someone who responds quickly, is punctual, works on a Sunday morning for a fair cost AND doesn't try to sell us a service policy! Water restored, my husband and I are delighted and highly recommend Wesley and Bay Area Pump."

"I highly recommend Patriot Pump and Well Repair to all in need of their services. Our water pump stopped working at 1pm on a Sunday. And we got on the phone and started calling numbers left and right. Everyone else either had answering services, voicemail and I had one company tell me they wouldn’t be able to come out until the following day even though I told them we didn’t have running water in our home! Finally called Patriot Pump and We’ll repair and Scott answered which totally threw me off that I was speaking to someone. "Filtration Direct was the first company to call me back from Angie's List. They came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. Another company called but never took the time to come give me an estimate and I had two other estimates that were pretty much comparable in price but Filtration Direct included extras the other ones didn't. I decided to go with Filtration Direct - they seemed to be very knowledgeable and they took care of me almost immediately when I called them back to do the job. They redirected some pipes so that the water softener would work both at my house and my barn which was awesome. There were some issues with the way my electric was wired but they got it done temporarily so it would work, and then sent back their guy back with the needed parts to get it done within a week (he came in the pouring rain but still got the job done). They hauled off all the old equipment (with the help of my tractor as the salt tank was completely full and solid as a rock), and they also cleaned out my filters and anything that was stained with iron, which was a plus. I was shown how the softener operates and the well tank they put on was much larger (which was badly needed) than the old broken one. I am happy with the water softener and there is virtually no maintenance other than adding salt. It also solved my iron problem as well. 
A few days after they put the new electrical box on my water shut off and was not sure if it had to do with the wiring (which is was not). I checked the breaker box and it was fine so I called them back. I got a call back within minutes and a couple hours they came out. It was a bad switch on the well pump. They replaced it and fixed the problem...thankfully as if was Friday late afternoon.
I am very happy with all the work that was done, they were excellent with communication and got back to me very quickly, and overall I give them a top rating. Their prices were fair, they are very experienced, and I feel they went above and beyond which is a nice change from what most companies offer.

"The best way to earn word of mouth recommendations is to EXCEED your customer's expectations and. D and C Air and Water certainly did that in our case, going WAY beyond the call of duty - more so than ANY service provider I can recall in the decades I have been a home owner in the Tampa Bay area.
I found D and C while looking through Angie's List for a water conditioning service that had strong recommendations and was located near our Land O Lakes home. Our old low end water softener and water filtering system had stopped function so I wanted to look at both repair options and the cost of a new, professional grade system for both softening and filtering water.
If you are like me, you detest high pressure sales tactics, so I was delighted when D and C owner Dan and his assistant Tim came out and proved to be NO pressure guys. In fact after spending an hour with me to go over all of the options and answer all of my questions - then being told I would get back to them - they not only refused to take their standard payment for the call, they wouldn't even take the money for their half price coupon that I had printed out from Angies List!
After speaking with my wife, we both decided the cheap old system was not worth repairing (it had many issues during its life span and it was very hard to find parts or service for the brand we had). We decided on a professional quality GE system with an advanced KDF water filtering system added and called Dan back. They had offered a very reasonable all inclusive price for each option they presented and I did some online research to find out what the equipment cost, so I knew they were offering a very reasonable price.
They came out at the appointed time and did a great job of installing the system which has done everything we wanted it to do. Here is where the exceeding expectations part comes in. During our discussions Dan noticed the old softener was on a side of the house that had no water faucet (thanks to an odd decision by the home builder). Even with the water softener we had to wash our cars with the untreated hard water from the faucet on opposite side of the house next to our driveway. Of course, that left spots all over the car that had to be rubbed out every time. Dan never said anything about it, but when he knocked on our door to tell us they were done with the new system, he said, "Come out here, I want to show you something."
So when we went out to look at the system Dan shows us that he had installed not one - but two new water faucets as part of the new water softening/filtering system. One for treated soft water (for the car) and another for untreated water that could be used to water plants and the lawn. I was stunned, especially since he didn't charge an extra penny to do it the extra work and buy the extra parts! Truly amazing in this day and age.
We hooked up hoses to each of the new faucets - one with an extra long hose to reach the cars with soft water (no more spots!) and one for watering flowers, etc on that side of the house. We couldn't be happier with the value for the money we spent, or the exceptional job Dan and Tim did. I could not recommend them more highly and it is great to know they are just a call away if our system ever needs service.
These guys don't drive around in an expensive fleet van and are not a franchisee of some bigger operation. They are just hard working local guys who have earned their stellar reputations by making sure their customers are happy. They are the kinds of service providers we try to seek out and we feel extremely luck when we find them. Thanks Dan and Tim for a job well done!

"Had issue with septic tank overflowing when heavy use such as washing multiple loads of laundry. Had 2 other septic tank companies and both immediately went to "you need to replace your drain field". No analysis or testing just straight to the $10 K to $12 K estimates. Then Jeff from Tampa Bay Plumbers came out and explained their process. The end quote for a new drain field was about 4-5 k less depending upon if we had to have a a pump also installed. That was awesome to hear in itself. But first he said that we should do the following, pump out the tank and then get to the distributor box and see if may be something was wrong there. Wow he was going to actually diagnose the problem. Refreshing. So their techs came out the next day, one pumped out the tank while the other dug around the distributor box. Low and behold the box was filled with sludge. The system is over 20 years old. He thoroughly cleaned out the box and tank of sludge and the pipes leading into the drain field. Those too had some sludge about 2 feet from the box but he was able to clear them as well. So although we suspect the drain field may need replacement in the future, we think we have a few more years before that is needed and appreciate a company who wants your business by not jumping to the most expense "fix" when it is NOT necessary. Professionalism and honesty earns them my plumbing and septic work from now on. If you are smart you will always call them to at least get a quote for any of your plumbing needs."
