"Had SD Express (Honeycomb Construction) paint our garage and WOW - it made a huge difference. Overall very happy with the outcome and service provided by Eugeniu and his brother and would hire again (have already recommended him to family members). I sent Eugeniu an email and he replied promptly and came by for an in person visit to provide an estimate (I was only interested in prime / paint at first) but Eugeniu recommended that we mud / sand the walls first to give the garage a smoother finish. The estimate process was easy and when we agreed upon a date / time for service, Eugeniu was professional and arrived on time each day. Eugeniu and his brother covered the paint site with appropriate protective cover so the paint would not stain the floor or a few of our personal items that we left in the garage. They applied mud the first day, sand and prime the second day and painted the ceiling and walls the 3rd day (white ceiling and grey walls). "We received three estimates on this work, and SD Water Damage/Restoration was almost 5K less than the two others, who were also on Angie's List. The workers arrived on time (or slightly early) for the estimate meeting and on work days. The woodwork was outstanding, and the workmen even made small repairs at no cost on several drawers. Our impression of Mr. Bennett, who did the actual woodwork, was that he was a craftsman of the highest quality and took pride in his work on every level. If we had it to do again, we would have draped off the living room, as the sanding required extensive cleaning afterward. We would recommend this company for honesty, integrity and value to anyone."

"Premier painting did exterior work on my house a few years ago and I was happy with their work. I had some interior work that needed to be done, so I asked for a bid. Mojig came out to do the bid and sent me a written estimate using Benjamin Moore Select Regal paint (my preference). Typically, Premier Painting uses Sherwin Williams Emerald paint. I asked him to add "two coats of paint" to the written contract, as the original contract did not specify two coats. Mojig responded that two coats of paint were not necessary since I was using high-quality Benjamin Moore paint. He also said that if it were really needed for coverage, he would apply a second "light" coat. However, I did not feel comfortable with this, particularly since we were going from a dark brown to a cream color. Plus, the manufacturer recommends two coats of paint and all of my previous painters have used two coats of paint. After I told Mojig that I did not want to proceed with the job, he offered to do two coats of paint. However, by that point, I had lost confidence and decided not to proceed with Premier Painting for interior work."
