"At the end it was poor build quality. James, I understand it was your contractors and not you but still .... ultimately you are the general contractor and it is your responsibility. That is why we paid you the big bucks .. you are supposed to know if your contractors that you hired do quality work or not. We did NOT get the BEST quality and are sorely disappointed."

"Andy, owner of Touchstone, was the project manager on our new home, He also did custom finish carpentry, installed our beautiful rock driveway, performed special carpentry in our formal dining area and kitchen, built our driveway entrance gates and a large medieval bridge, and did exceptional trim work, to name some of his individual accomplishments. The work was excellent...truly craftsmanlike...reasonably priced, with nothing left undone or incomplete. Andy uses skilled contractors and delivers. He even replicated a mid century fireplace pine paneled wall to within an inch of the original. Simplt put, Andy and team are the very best...on top of which, their communication is excellent. Top drawer! "

"DON'T HIRE!! He first did work through our insurance company for water damage, and did a good job, friendly, on time every day. We did have an issue with new flooring but TRUSTED him to fix like he said he would. Insurance paid. We had also hired him to do $5000.00 additional repairs. That's when the other Lance showed up!! Didn't show up to work when he said he would, wouldn't reply to texts or phone calls, rude, belligerent, very unprofessional. He's been paid, still needs to fix new flooring that he said he would fix, still have other issues with a couple of things that he said he would come by and talk to us about. A month later, still waiting...This all started February 2024. At this point I'm afraid to have him back in my home."

His skill set is immense along with his knowledge about old homes and new. In our case, our house in North Boise was built lathe and plaster in the 1930s. He knew exactly how to handle it and everything that comes along with working on it. He maintains good communication, has great recommendations and in general is an all around great guy. We appreciate all the work he did, all the sub contractors that he managed and for how well he kept everyone accountable. I will undoubtedly reach out to him again for our next project."
