"Jeff from 1-800-asphalt replied promptly. He first notified us not to be alarmed to see a man surveying our driveway. He then submitted a 4 option plan based on what could be done 3-4 days later. His bid was the most detailed and comprehensive. My husband and I did not meet his staff and asked if he or one of his staff could come out and walk the driveway with us to explain the bid. He was very accommodating and came up himself. He was very friendly, professional, courteous and informative. We were very impressed and ultimately chose him after reviewing the bids. ( Note: 3 other companies never returned our call). Jeff kept us informed every step of the way. Our driveway was repaved 1 week later on the first sunny day. They did a beautiful job! I would highly recommend them and use their services again."

"Contractor was personable and efficient in getting us a bid. Once we decided, they got the job done within two weeks of our order. The crew was there 20 minutes before expected on the day of the job. The crew was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. A little bit of the asphalt splattered on the house siding but was not more than to be expected as the sidewalk butted up to the wall. We will have them come back next spring and replace our driveway. <br />"

"This is the 2nd review I am posting. The 1st was submitted shortly after work was complete. This review is approx. 3 mos. post-project. Although GMG noted that there may be some puddling on the new surface, the result I have is extreme. It was not noticeable immediately and failed attempts to follow up with GMG explains the late 2nd review. I have several spots on my new driveway that are uneven and gather water after rain. One, directly in front of my garage door, is esp large and problematic. I have contacted GMG on 5 separate occasions asking for a return visit and recommendations. While I have recv'd replies to all of my emails, no visit has been made and no suggestions for a remedy offered. As noted in my earlier review, GMG is a large commercial paving co. It may be that small residential driveways like mine are used as "filler" in between larger projects. As such, it appears small contracts are prioritized accordingly."

"Kris came out and gave us an estimate to seal coat our large driveway and repair a small sink hole that was on the side of the driveway and getting bigger. Kris took three days to do a through job of blowing the debris off the drive, then power washing, filling the cracks with rubber and then applying two coats of tar by hand. After each process he made sure the driveway was clean and ready for the next step. The driveway looks great and we would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of work done. <br />"

"The crew came out and pressured washed all of the Driveway and Parking area. They showed up at the time as they said they would. We were scheduled a week ago but with the recent rain we had, Brian called and explained that they were watching the weather and as soon as there was a forcast of clear they would be back to touch up/ pressure wash and seal. True to his word they showed up on Monday the 2nd of June and applied the first coat. Came back today the 3rd of June to  apply the second coat. Filled in all  of the cracks filled in all the low spots. The Asphalt is right up next to our home. We have metal siding and I was concerned about over spray and splatter, The crews were very carful and there was no over spray or splatter on our siding. My drive way looks as if it were just put in! Brian and MATSU Asphalt crew care very much about there work and it shows. Very profesional and courtious. A man of his word which in this day  and age is hard to find. I give them 5 stars. I have MATSU Asphalt on my speed dial. They will always have my buisnesse. <br />"

"I was really worried paving so much driveway would prove too difficult and leave a lot of unevenness, lines, and low spots. None of that happened in the finished product. All 6,000 feet of my driveway is seamless and even. What really impressed me is that they paved two of my next door neighbor's house on the same day. Which is amazing is because it looks like they spent all day on mine. <br /> I would recommend this company and used it again for these particular reasons: <br /> 1. I was given good advice that saved me hundreds of dollars. I was going to install underground PVC pipes to drain water away from house and driveway and into the ditch. Instead, they just added a very slight slope to the driveway to move water away from the house. 2. I got way more than I paid for. I was quoted for 2and quot; D1 gravel and 2and quot; asphalt. The gravel is on average 4and quot; and 8and quot; at its highest point. There is as much as 4and quot; of asphalt along the perimeter of the house in some areas. They also made the entrance of the driveway 2 feet wider to make it more aesthetically pleasing free of charge.3. The quality of work is superb. <br /> <br />"
