The old pool house old building had issues that were revealed as work progressed, and Ani gave me quotes for what each repair would cost. He also helped me pick tile, explain why a floor covering of tile would make more sense than wood in the house. He painted, replaced the roof, created a vent, and created a shutoff switch for the pipe so that a leak might not happen in the future. Above all, the project was completed on time within his estimates. In addition, he was very good to work with and together the project came together very well. He was clear and direct, which is how I like working with someone. I would recommend A&K construction and will definitely hire them again for future projects."

Other fabricators told me it would be 5-6 weeks. They cut the counter top without a seam. Again, the other fabricators told me a seam would be necessary near the sink. The craftsmanship is outstanding. <br /> I was pleased when I first got the very reasonable estimate and read great reviews from Angies List and Dorado Soapstone. <br /> This is a very, very old house and they needed to spend an extra day here, travelling from Rhode Island because the kitchen sink cabinet needed to be completely rebuilt to accommodate the heavy stone sink and the cabinets needed a little shoring up. <br /> Having had some very expensive extras with contractors before this, I was expecting a possible whammy...none came. I actually had to ask for the bill before they left. Dave explained every charge which came to less than $300.00, way, way less than I expected. <br /> I had a small issue with the sprayer leaking, Dave came right out and fixed it.
