The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. <br /> <br /> We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. <br /> <br /> After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. "We recently completed a project with BBB and are truly thankful for the quality of work they provide. They finished an unfinished portion of our basement, and tore down a large closet to build a bar. In addition, they installed a doorway in an upstairs room that had previously not had a door. The project took about 7 weeks to complete. Having work done on your home, working with contractors, etc can be an extremely stressful experience. Until the work is done you don't always know what you're going to get as far as the quality of the work, cost adjustments, people coming into your home, responsiveness, etc. Working with this company, none of those issues are a concern. I have had the pleasure of interacting with Randy throughout this entire process from start to finish. I am really impressed by not only how knowledgeable he is, but how cool, calm and collected he is about everything. There was not one detail or question that we brought up to him that fazed him or wasn't addressed. That being said, he also spent a lengthy amount of time assessing the details of the basement up front to ensure everything was accurate. Every single member of the team that took part in the construction was of the highest quality, professional and extremely respectful. The final product is outstanding. The bar was built from scratch and is stunning. There were no surprises at any step along the way, to include the final price. Everything was transparent from the beginning. Simply put, I don't see how you can do any better than BBB for any basement or home improvement needs. As I anticipate future work on the house, I will be returning to them in a heartbeat. "We contacted 3 companies and compared designs and quotes.  Fiderio's designer, Beth had by far the best design, and was able to stay very close to our desired budget.   This company could have easily earned an A, but because of some communication issues, and a number of minor flaws in their work that were not corrected with additional calls after the project was complete, we believe they deserve a B.  <br /> Pros: <br /> The design and sales process was excellent. We were not necessarily looking for the lowest price, but they had the best overall plan, and worked to find a solution within our budget. <br /> They did Very good work overall.  The project was completed within the budget with no surprises, and the people performing the work were very personable, good to work with, and flexible to make any minor modifications we requested.   <br /> Cons: <br /> The biggest problem we found was that there was no real point of contact or project management.  Any issues that came up were routed through the office staff, and answers were then relayed to us - we were not really able to talk to the project manager (for example, we were told that appropriate building permits would be pulled, but this did not occur.  When we tried to find out why and make sure that it did happen, we were never able to talk to the person responsible for doing that, and this required extensive follow up on our part). <br /> When the work was complete, there was no final inspection or followup call to see if we were satisfied with the final product. This would have gone a long way in providing superior service.  There were a number of (minor) items that were unsatisfactory which required them to come back out to fix or complete, which to their credit they attempted do immediately.  However, not all items  were ultimately fixed to our satisfaction. <br />"

"We originally requested Rosado Custom Homes to give us a quote to re-do our stairs (to make them safer and to code). Victor, the owner, was incredibly kind and gave us the best quote over two others we had gotten. After signing the contract to begin, work started the following Monday. We were shocked at how quickly they started work! We were so satisfied only a week in that we contracted RCH for a second larger job in the house, re-finishing our basement, updating all the electrical in the house to code, and updating our geothermal heat and air system that had countless problems. Victor gave us a quote immediately and stuck to it, only changing as we requested more work (which has now included a full bathroom renovation). The many jobs we contracted, including all the added work along the way, has only taken a couple months from start to finish. The employees/contractors are incredibly hard-working; they really don’t mess around while they’re here, working hard to get the job done as quickly as possible, with a very high quality of work. If I needed any more work done, I would definitely contract RCH again. Victor is very flexible with working with you to get done what you need, at a price you agree with, and on whatever time schedule works for you. I would recommend Rosado Custom Homes to anyone looking to renovate or update anything in their home.
