"On August 4, 2020 our property was hit by tropical Storm, Isaias, knocking down trees and power lines. A large nut tree fell across the power lines from the telephone pole on our property to the house pulling the lines down to the ground. When our power line was pulled down to the ground, it bent the electric service mast on our roof to an almost 90 degree angle. We called Home Advisor who immediately connected us to Ted Connole of Connoleâ s Electric. Ted responded by saying that he would come out that afternoon and assess the damage. When Ted and his crew arrived, he told us that Eversource needed to disconnect the wires from the house and said that the tree had to be removed from the power lines. Since we were unable to contact Eversource due to massive outages in the state, we called Ted back and explained our predicament. Ted also attempted to contact them. Ted returned to our home with his crew and removed the wires from the house as well as removing and replacing the damaged electrical service mast from the roof, thereby; making it ready for Eversource to reconnect the power lines. From the very beginning, Ted treated us more like family than a customer in need. Ted and his crew were knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. Throughout this ordeal, Ted kept in constant contact inquiring about our safety and well-being. He also followed up with Eversourceâ s progress. He went above and beyond the norm.
