"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled. "Carl came and surveyed the situation and assured me that he could repair the damaged areas of my sheet vinyl flooring with the extra material that I had on hand. He asked for a down payment of 10% and then went to pick up the materials needed to repair the floor. He returned the next day and did a great job of removing the damaged areas and replacing them with an exact fit with pieces he cut out from my extra material. After gluing them in, you could not see where he had done the work. It looked perfect. It had to set for 24 hours. He came back the next day and sealed the seams. Again, it takes 24 hours to set. He came back on the third day and removed my rubber floor molding. It was tricky as I have wallpaper butting the molding. He removed the old molding without any damage to the wallpaper. I was extremely happy about that. He then purchased the wood replacement moldings and did a very good job on installing it. I was very pleased with his work. He has all the tools and talent to probably handle any job needed around the house. I am thinking of hiring him to refinish my living room hardwood floors in the spring."
