"Iâ  ve had major water issues in my basement for several years . Adirondack took care of the back( newer section) 5 years ago without further issues. Spring 2022, the front part of the basement was under 21/2 inches of water from ground water flowing (100+ year old house). I called Adirondack, explained the issue and they came right over and suggested a solution. It was very expensive but my basement had been bone dry ever since. "Dave came in and created a new, ADA compliant (for my wife), small bathroom layout that solved a host of issues including a larger shower footprint. After seeing how well the larger shower fit, we decided to continue with all new fixtures, beadboard sheathing, crown molding, new window, and LVP flooring (see attached New Bath pics). No chasing subcontractors, it was all Dave. He also increased the water flow in the kitchen and bathroom by tuning the water pump, implementing a new crawl space plumbing design, and increased the water intake out in the lake. He offered the opportunity of re-locating the hot water heater out of the crawlspace where the old one had rusted and increasing the HW capacity. We couldn’t say yes fast enough. All of this and not one leak! Dave also identified and corrected several issues with our electrical panel when he was installing the water heater and baseboard heat. I don't often write reviews, but we were just so impressed with Dave. We were incredibly happy with his work, but what we were most impressed with was how quickly he responded and followed up with us, how competitively priced he was, and how professional and friendly he was. He listened to what we wanted, he researched requests, made recommendations, and selected quality products for our changes. We made incremental changes after we started that added to the project scope but he always sent us an estimate for those changes via email beforehand so we could formally agree or contact him to discuss any questions or changes that we had. He takes a lot of pride in his work and wants to make sure he provides you with what you want. I wish all contractors did business like this!"

The installers, Felix, Ryan, and Antonio were here right on time, were very professional, worked with me on how I wanted it done, did a great job, cleaned up all the workplace, tested the equipment, and got the job done in one day. Simons's office personnel, Danyan, Marissa, Crystal,and Tammy were perfect in scheduling, following up, doing warranty registration, and applying for National Grids rebate. The unit is performing great, it is so quiet you don't even know it's on. It can even provide heat down to below zero and save alot on operating costs. Lenox makes superior equipment! I believe that I recognize what customer service is. They not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. I contacted them and we met soon after on a day and time .... after I got home from work. They came out to view and measure what I wanted done. They listened and provided guidance and direction, all if an effort to realize a successful job. They left and by that evening sent me an estimate. I confirmed. They came over with paperwork to solidify the job.. I met these guys only a few times but I had confidence in them to buy all the materials based on my needs and wants. (I wanted to have these items done before another contractor comes to install new flooring in June,) An example of their following through to the end. My vanity counter in the bathroom --- i wanted to replace. They purchased all the materials at Home Depot. In the store as well as when the brought the counter top here, There was a HAIR LINE crack that went from the faucet hole to the basin. They called me in and asked if I saw a crack in the piece, NO i saw no crack .. He used light beam and scanned the vanity top, There was a HAIR LINE approx 8". inches long. Unbelievable. Returning to H.D. they got another. Look at it and it looked fine. When they went to take it out of the box, the packaging foam was stuck to a corner, Took a dollar coin piece out!! They knew that this H.D. had no more in stock. They found one at another H.D. They went there to retrieve it. Once back - job was completed. They were very timely .. when they said they would be here, they were. They took all the material and old pieces out. I had a dumpster at my complex. All done. When you make your phone call and they are on the list...make them your FIRST call. You will find that no others need to be contacted. NOTE: they called me the next day to inquire if I had any issues! NO, I had none."

They finished on time and left the home clean. So, when I was looking personally to have basement waterproofing (interior french drains and sump pump) along with radon mitigation, I received 3 quotes, of which theirs was the most comprehensive plan, and again not the highest quote overall. They finished the work ahead of schedule by bringing four workers the second day, were respectful throughout and left the area reasonably clean. I'm confident that my days (and nights!) with the shopvac and flooded basement are finally over, and grateful they stand behind their work for a full year. Good contractors are hard to find.
