"This review is just to state we had a long cold winter and a lot of snow and no leaking! There was ice damming in the area of poor design by the builder, but Chris' recomendations of putting a rubber mebrane in along the valleys of the roof and up under our cedar siding worked great! No more leaks. Also, where we had the ice damming issue Chris had pitched it slightly and it drains very well when we have hard downpours now. With regards to the ridge vents installed it seems there is somewhat less ice damming in areas and it is definalty cooler in our house on hot summer/fall days. As far as the raccoons go I have heard them on the roof already this year and it appears they are not trying to enter the attic. You should call Allstar if you are looking for any roofing needs! Also, I know he they do HVAC work and other work and we will be calling Allstar for those needs in the future as well due to our dealing with them on this roofing job and thier honesty, hardwork and fair prices."

"For a while, I was really always it seems that anytime I needed something, I couldn't get it timely. The first they would ask, for instance, when my air conditioning went out I had them and it's well have you maintained it. The application being that if you couldn't produce maintenance records they weren't going to do it. So on air conditioner was unhappy. They shocked me . I had a recent leak inside the loft. They sent somebody out here. They really did a good job on it. They were timely. A leak within the draining system inside the wall, I was getting water damage down the wall. They sent a plumber out. He opened up the wall and replaced the piping in there and then patched the wall back up. They don't do finish work on their patch up but hey do the patch. He was a pretty sharp young man. He was responsive. He came and he needed some things. he went and got them. He came right back. That was one that I was wondering if they were even going to do caus they'd been going on for a while. It was a drainage pipe in the wall. It was a manufacturing defect that had probably leaked from some early years of the home and got progressively worse until I could hear it. Actually when I would turn on the water on a certain faucet I could hear it drip down onto a fireplace. That's how I knew what it was. They don't do the finish. You do the finish. They do the patch. The only reason I kept them was because they showed me a different face with that repair. Before it seemed like everything you wanted they had a reason not to do it."
