"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. "We had Ground Breaking Construction come out to work on my dad's house and garage that needed to be done before a refinance could be completed. The work entailed having the trim of his house scraped, primed and painted, along with having some siding put up on one side of the garage and a hole covered on another. The work that needed to be done was just a bandaid on a broken bone kind of situation. Lionel and Nichole Bell came out, listened to exactly what we needed done to please the finance company, asked questions, and were extremely understanding when no one else would even return my calls. I had received an estimate from 2 other companies that was literally a paragraph in an email. That was not the case with Lionel and Nichole. They provided us an estimate, that very day, that was laid out completely professionally and detailed, which included their business name, address, phone number and license information. Lionel and Nichole spoke to the finance company about the contract, understood the payment process and were still willing to do the work. Lionel and his co-worker were completely professional on the job. Lionel went above and beyond to ask questions that arose, communicated with me the whole time, and even offered suggestions about how something could be done to look better than was expected. They were thorough, left the job completely clean and even finished a day earlier than was originally proposed, but absolutely within the time frame that was allotted to us by the finance company.
