"We worked with Ron Martin, one of the co-owners. Ron initially came out to the house to take measurements and talk over options. Then we visited his small appointment-only showroom in Fridley to make flooring selections. We initially talked about putting carpet upstairs and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) downstairs. Unlike some other people we got estimates from, Ron was quite willing to offer LVP installation on the basement stairs. He also suggested that we consider commercial carpet as an option, since we were concerned about occasional water in the basement and weren't entirely sure we wanted a hard floor. Ron was patient with us as we figured out what we wanted, and he revised the bid several times. In the end, we put a Shaw plush carpet with 7/16" rebond pad upstairs, and a Mohawk commercial carpet with 3/8" pad downstairs in the basement. Ron was very willing to be flexible on the schedule. Because our house is small, we wanted the opportunity to move things around between the floors. They did the basement on a Monday, and then came out on Thursday to do the upstairs. Ron's partner and son did the basement work, and then Ron and his partner did the upstairs. The bid included furniture moving. We moved the small and light stuff into the garage ourselves, but they moved all of the heavy stuff back and forth between rooms the day of the installation using some neat plastic skids. We're very happy with the results. The carpet looks great and the house looks 20 years newer. We would definitely hire Ron again. We did a lot of other remodeling work on the house this summer, and the carpet was one of the smoothest parts of the process. Ron was a pleasure to work with."

I would also like to note that during the process we received some bad news and Josh was very gracious in halting the installation and giving us some time to deal with that. We are very appreciative of this. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing a new floor or floors in their home."
