They gave us a quote up front and we just cut them the final check for the same amount we agreed to at the beginning. They went above and beyond in so many ways: they saw there wasnâ t insulation behind our babyâ s nursery and installed it, they added an extra outlet in a bedroom while re-doing the electrical, they vacuumed at the end of every day and had a temporary plastic wall to keep all the dust from getting to the rest of the house. They were reliable and communicative every step of the way. And we always felt comfortable with them in our house (even during COVID when we were working from home) . He had the best price and wanted no money up front. He also worked with our town's building department to come to a final design they would approve. From the time of final approval, the crew started work within a reasonable timeframe and took about a week. The deck looks good and feels solid. As Gary advised the darker colors really do get hot, even if there's just late afternoon sun. A bit of a downside: if you need minor adjustments/corrections and you're not in an area he usually works in, there is a wait for a crew to be in your area to address."
