"THEY HAVEN'T STARTED THE WORK YET SO I can't answer questions about quality yet. I'm on the schedule for two weeks from now. They were the ONLY roofing company from the five companies I interviewed that found hail damage and took pictures of it to show me. I submitted the photos to my insurance company and I will get a good portion of the roof paid for! Nice guys with a good sense of humor. They have been great about returning my calls right away and working with my insurance adjuster. They will make any adjustments the adjuster recommends. They are HONEST. One roofing company told me they would have to charge me extra to remove three layers of shingles at an outrageous price. I asked Honorable Roofing how may layers of shingles I had and they said ONLY ONE! BEWARE! Just because I'm A SENIOR CITIZEN AND CAN'T GET ON THE ROOF, ANOTHER COMPANY CHOSE TO TRY TO SCREW ME (LITTLE OLD LADY). Go with the good guys---Vincent and Darrell."

"I began the search for a roofer some eighteen months before discovering SunRise Roofing through a recommendation by Chris Leonards at RWC roofing supply. Over the past 26 years, RWC has always pointed me to the right people to help me with my flat roof issues. I did not want a tear off losing the insulation value of the old polyurethane foam roof applied back in 1975. All the roofers except those who did silicone said I would require a costly tear off. Some of the roofers recommending TPO admitted that the heat sealed seams of TPO applications require periodic inspections and maintenance, and TPO can be penetrated if something like a swamp cooler panel corner is accidentally dropped or carelessly sat down on the membrane. Moreover, a TPO application requires gluing or nailing, or both to secure the membrane to the roof decking, and after a tear off, additional repairs may be required before application. My roof was solid to walk on and only minor leaks had developed 25 years after a bituminous overlay of the foam applied in 1975. Over 45 years, the foam compressed, causing ponding resulting in the canale basins becoming higher than the average plane of the roof. So, I considered a silicone application which withstands ponding and does not require a tear off. Hence, SunRise was recommended. Upon calling SunRise, Daisy advised me SunRise no longer was doing silicone applications due to discovering a superior, tougher new roof application, Ecodur, manufactured by Castagra. See: [*** Link removed ***] After investigating TPO, silicone, poly-elastomers, tar and gravel, and torch down, I settled on the Ecodur, applying two layers with polyester fabric embedded between and no tear off required. This results in a seamless, flexible bond which is impossible to tear without using a power saw, industrial scissors and box cutters; is difficult to penetrate unless using a hammer and nails; withstands ponding; is maintenance free and easy to permanently patch or repair in the extreme unlikelihood of damage. Ecodur finishes like a dance floor! Compared to other roofing materials, it's like science fiction. As a do it yourself kind of guy, in most of my experience, others doing work for me usually leave something to be desired after declaring the work finished. SunRise Roofing is the exception to this. After agreeing to the cost and the simple straight forward terms of warranty, for extra measure, SunRise's crew custom formed various shapes of channels to shed and direct water toward and out the canales, virtually eliminating the extensive ponding which served to break down the roof since owning the house; this, despite Ecodur being able to withstand ponding. Martin Nevarez, the owner of Sunrise welcomed my participation, suggestions and applications of my own knowledge regarding the roof I have lived under and maintained since 1972. Martin and all his employees acted as my partners in getting the job done to my standards or better. Moreover, without exception, his business operates like a family, and after working with his superb crew, I couldn't help but feel that I had become a part of the SunRise family as well. Everyone at SunRise acted in behalf of my interests and were not satisfied until I was. The results are what I would have wanted to achieve if I had to do the work myself; I can offer no higher praise than that. "We were very impressed with both Kramer and Eric. We needed a step down room (popular in the 70's) leveled to match the other rooms, and new flooring laid in 75% of the home. They did an excellent job! What impressed me the most, they realized as they were taking up the old flooring that the concert underneath was very uneven. They could have just laid the floor and not said anything as had been done before, but they didn't. They took the time to show us how uneven the floor was and to explain how over time the flooring could gradually separate (which was happening in current flooring). "The old peeling painted surfaces were expertly and seamlessly repaired. Shai's workman was an artist, hand-mixing the materials to match exactly the old surfaces, so it all looks like new. The water damage was a longer and more complicated process, involving assessment of water still within the wall (yes), asbestos testing ( positive), and abatement, all before Above & Beyond could start work.
