"I cannot say enough positive things about Sergio Duran and Duran Plastering, Inc.! We recently moved into a stucco house that was built in 1999, and it has a stucco fence surrounding the front courtyard and the backyard area. OVer the years, the stucco had deteriorated, and there were several places on the house that needed repair, and the fence needed extensive repair. I obtained several bids to fix the problems, and Duran Plastering was the best bid; in addition, I had seen the great work that Duran had done on another project in our neighborhood, so I felt confident in selecting them. They repaired the fencing, and then they put a new coat of stucco over every square foot of the fence. Before they began, they dug down to the below ground level until they had access to where the bottom of the fence began. They then pressure-washed the fence and let it dry before applying stucco. They then repaired the bad spots on the house, let the repair sit for a couple of days to dry, and then they stuccoed the repaired areas. They also went on top of our house and repaired and restuccoed the many cracks we had in our parapets. The stucco color they used matched the existing stucco perfectly! The fence and the house look wonderful! The crew spent a substantial amount of time cleaning up after they finished the stuccoing, and they put everything back where it was before--which was a very big task! The crew that Duran uses is great! The guys are courteous, pleasant, and seek to please. They also went over and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with the project. On top of everything else, there is a 5.5 year warranty on the project; thus, if there are cracks or bad places that surface, they will fix them without additional cost during that time period. I accepted their bid on a Monday about midday, and they started the project the next morning! They worked their tails off and finished by the end of the week, even though there was a day they couldn't work due to bad weather. In addition to Sergio and his crew being top-flight, Cristal, Sergio's wife and office manager, kept me apprised of their schedule and answered questions I had of her. She was great, too! "Bob Reule and his staff worked with me throughout the entire process, While I knew that the house needed new stucco and the color needed updating I was not certain of much else.  Bob and Jay, one of his staff, were extremely helpful and patient in helping me with color choices for the stucco and the trim.  As so often happens with older homes, as they progressed with the prep work, it became apparent that some other things also needed attention.  I ended up replacing three exterior doors in the back of the house prior to the re-stuccoing. As a result, the Reule staff had to coordinate their work with additional workmen. It required adjustments in scheduling, but they were very cooperative in doing so. Reule did the re-framing and installation of a new side side door in the garage, replacing an old weathered door.
A large bush had caused a great deal of damage to a yard wall. This caused misalignment of the side-gate and made securing of the gate difficult. Once the bush was removed, the men repaired the side wall and realigned the gate. The yard walls, bordering the front yard, were waist high and stucco. Due to time and weathering the stucco was in need of some cosmetic work.  Minor repairs were done, the stucco was patched and color match the house.
A stucco half wall, serving as a base for a long flower box, extended from a structural pillar near the front door along the entryway walk.  It had severe water damage and "imploded" down into the base. It was decided to remove that structure up to the pillar.
The structural pillar was just a few feet from the front door and had an open level portion under the eve.  Pigeons had begun to roost there and were making a mess.  After discussing the problem with the workmen, it was decided to extend the stucco up an additional few inches and eliminating the perching area. Problem solved (so far!).
The paint mixture designed to match the stucco color, turned out to not be an exact match for the garage doors and the trim around them.  It took a few attempts, but Jay kept working with it and was able to come up with a paint "recipe" that matched the stucco.
Jay and the workmen were always on time, did what they said that they would do (sometimes more) when they said they would do it, stayed on schedule, were courteous, easy to work with and very helpful. Bob stopped by intermittently to see how things were going, and was kept updated through Jay, as well. 
While this ended up as a much bigger undertaking than I had initially anticipated, everything that was done was long overdue and with an eye on resale one day. Everyone I dealt with at Ruele Sun Corp was incredibly helpful. Bob and Jay were a terrific help throughout the process.I love how my house now  looks and would readily recommend Ruele Sun Corp for re-stuccoing.

"The owner personally met with the customer to talk about the job requirements and the price quote.  The company was ready to start within a few days of when we accepted the bid.  The crew arrived on time.  All light fixtures, downspouts, etc. on the surface of the stucco were removed.  A trench was dug all around the house to coat the existing stucco down to its base.  Repairs and patching were done.  I am a particular customer and was present during much of the work.  Any occasional oversight by the crew that I observed was easily and quickly resolved.  Any windows, rain barrels, etc. that needed to be protected from the stucco materials were well masked/covered.  The synthetic stucco color coat was applied in a two step process....first, a hard trowel application and second, a soft trowel application.  Many companies would not do both.  All patching and original defects were well covered and disappeared.  The synthetic coat always was sealed up against any window frame, door frame, etc.  After the stucco application was completed, all lights, downspouts, etc. were reinstalled.  The clean up of project trash, etc. was completed well, but not as completely as my environmental eccentricities would have desired.  But given the quality and speed of the job, I was happy to do the final picky clean up stuff myself.  The house now looks better than with the original, traditional, three layer stucco coating.  I live quite remotely, so it was decided to use a larger crew.  This saved on crew travel down time.  A crew of nine was used and the entire job was completed in three days.
The only significant problem that I found after the work was that the louvers of an attic fan would not open.  The fan had been covered/masked, but the frame of the louvers was such that even a tiny amount of stucco residue would prevent their opening.  I called the evening of the crew's last work day to report the problem.  The next morning crew arrived and quickly fixed the problem before noon.  Especially in New Mexico, work of this quality is seldom found.  The company is located about 60 miles from our home.
