"Filtration Direct was the first company to call me back from Angie's List. They came out to give me an estimate in a timely manner. Another company called but never took the time to come give me an estimate and I had two other estimates that were pretty much comparable in price but Filtration Direct included extras the other ones didn't. I decided to go with Filtration Direct - they seemed to be very knowledgeable and they took care of me almost immediately when I called them back to do the job. They redirected some pipes so that the water softener would work both at my house and my barn which was awesome. There were some issues with the way my electric was wired but they got it done temporarily so it would work, and then sent back their guy back with the needed parts to get it done within a week (he came in the pouring rain but still got the job done). They hauled off all the old equipment (with the help of my tractor as the salt tank was completely full and solid as a rock), and they also cleaned out my filters and anything that was stained with iron, which was a plus. I was shown how the softener operates and the well tank they put on was much larger (which was badly needed) than the old broken one. I am happy with the water softener and there is virtually no maintenance other than adding salt. It also solved my iron problem as well. 
A few days after they put the new electrical box on my water shut off and was not sure if it had to do with the wiring (which is was not). I checked the breaker box and it was fine so I called them back. I got a call back within minutes and a couple hours they came out. It was a bad switch on the well pump. They replaced it and fixed the problem...thankfully as if was Friday late afternoon.
I am very happy with all the work that was done, they were excellent with communication and got back to me very quickly, and overall I give them a top rating. Their prices were fair, they are very experienced, and I feel they went above and beyond which is a nice change from what most companies offer.

"My name is Gene. I live in a Naples condo with my wife Beth. The water in this part of Florida is barely drinkable. The water is naturally warm and a breeding ground for bacteria which necessitates the county to overload it with chlorine on a regular basis. This makes the water safe but horrible to drink, horrible to wash in, self, clothes, dishes, anything. We have been spending over $400 a year in bottled water. We had enough! Our travels took us to a new Kinetico outbuilding on Bonita Beach Road to find out how they could help. We met Katy, the office manager who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful without being overbearing like many salespersons can be. She set up an appointment with Greg a Kinetico regional rep, at our home. Greg came to our house a few days later. He explained our options in great, understandable detail. We were impressed with Greg’s honesty, friendliness, and knowledge of our local water problems, and the potential solutions to those problems. We agreed to a dual system. One, a de-chlorination of all all water entering our unit. Two, an under the kitchen sink reverse osmosis sytem which provided better than bottle water quality for drinking purposes. We wanted the best. Installation was then arranged. A few days later, Louis, a Kinetico system installer, came and installed the systems in a few hours. Louis was a very friendly and competent fellow. He double checked everything he did. He discovered a factory defect in a small part and immediately called the office for a replacement which was delivered within the hour! (How often does that happen with other companies?) Final Result: Miraculous! As if by magic our water tastes as good or better than the DaSani bottle we’ve been buying. We purchased a water test kit and it showed “no trace” of chlorine in either system. We also found, as an untold bonus, that our bathing water was softer. Not that Naples water is hard. It is not. On a scale of hardness, Naples water is about a “2” out of “10”, 10 being the hardest. Our filtered water is now a “1”. A small difference, much soap-sudsier. In conclusion, we give the Kinetico system (and its’ support personnel) a double thumbs up, and recommend it to any household with a chlorinated water problem."

"Tom was simply Amazing!!!!! Tom and His crew worked diligently until they were done! Some times they stayed until 9 or 10 pm until the job was done! My Addition to my home was completed in record time thanks to the guys at TNT..... Very clean, always there when they scheduled! Just a wonderful experience in hiring a contractor to do work! "I needed my Zone 5 buried valve box found and repaired as that zone was not working. I needed my Zone 3 buried box found for my information. American Irrigation answered the phone promptly when I called and scheduled service within a few days. They gave me pricing over the phone for the initial service call and use of the valve box scanning tool - so I knew what that would be. The pleasant office person indicated that once my Zone 5 box was located, there would then be a free estimate of work to fix issues found and I could decide at that point if I wanted them to continue. An available slot came up and they fit me into their schedule two days early. Two gentlemen called to let me know they were on their way and arrived early! Their truck/van was marked and labeled professionally with all company information. I liked that for safety reasons. The gentlemen were knowledgeable, very thorough, worked quickly, and were extremely pleasant. First, they checked my irrigation controller for electrical issues with the non-working zone 5 (no water coming out of sprinklers). Second, they turned on the irrigation system looking for any potential overall problems with sprinkler heads, lines and such - which there were some minor issues. Third, within two minutes (not kidding) they found my two buried Zones 3 and 5 valve boxes for which I did not know the locations. If I were a mole or burrowing gopher digging in the yard, I would never have found them. They were in the most surprising locations. Well worth the money to me. Fourth, without hesitation I gave them permission to do any necessary repair work. After finding the zone 5 buried valve box, they dug it up and fixed the waterless zone by replacing the bad valve/solenoid part. All parts/tools were on their truck. They also adjusted and fixed other sprinkler heads and tested the entire system. The gentleman cleaned up the yard and took all broken parts and trash. They marked the 2 zone boxes with flags so my yard service folks will see them (hopefully) and keep them visible from this point forward, like my other ones! Payment by credit card in my garage was easy. They do have an Angie’s List coupon too - I just forgot to give it to them (my fault). I allowed them to place company sticker on my control box and received several business cards. I have confidence I can call American Irrigation if there is an issue whether we are here or not. I had a great experience; they gave me peace of mind with the system and would recommend."
