"Reyes and Mason were awesome. They quickly got everything installed without interrupting power to my house. The company was able to match prices with another competitor and keep their commitment to the original contract quote promises or remove any items from the original quote. Mason, the smart one of the 3 helped me out as I'm not the most tech savvy in getting the EV charger set up and running ready for my first charge that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about these guys and I look forward to calling them in the future for any other electric work needing done to the house."

"While this was just a quick replacement of an outlet, my history with Griffin Electrical goes way back. I called Daine out years ago for some additional outlet help and he was the friendliest electrician I’ve ever dealt with. He answered all my questions and his work was top notch. I’ve now used him multiple times over the last few years and it’s always a pleasure dealing with him. I wish more people were as honest and hardworking as he is. You’re in good hands with Griffin!"

"First of all, Alex, our technician is infectious with his excitement to do the electrical work. A short conversation with him and you will easily discover how passionate he is about doing the job. He was prompt to the appointment for the quote, the office and Alex communicated about schedules, and the quote was very reasonable. Alex, showed up during the appointment window after communicating that he was in the way. He shared the process of the new breaker box install via pictures and worked cleanly. It's hot, but Alex attitude never wavered. It is a relief to fInd an electrician that has earned my trust."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in El Reno, OK

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
