"In Spring 2024, Bob responded to our request to add a roughly 240 square foot addition to the back of our house. From the first phone call to the final walk through, Bob was a trusted presence and thorough communicator. He listed to our requests, answered our questions, offered suggestions and explained challenges in a consistent, clear and timely manner (which was extremely appreciated for first-timers going through this process). It's been roughly 8 months since completion and having a new office and family room has made a HUGE difference in my family's quality of life. His costs were fair and, given that we made some slight tweaks to our original plans, we stayed roughly within budget in terms of time and money. I highly recommend Bob and his excellent team of subcontractors as well."

"It went great! The crew that did the work were diligent and professional, polite and courteous, respectable to me personally, to my home. They did a great job of cleaning everything up when the job was done. We had a couple of little kinks. They were taken care of quickly with apologies. The completed new bathroom is even more beautiful than I could have anticipated. Gorden was easy to work with. He explained everything and helped with decisions. He is respected by his crew. I'm completely pleased with the work performed. When I'm ready for another project G.R. Construction Co will get my call. Thanks Gordy and your crew for my beautiful new bathroom."

"Joe and his crew did a great job on repairing and painting my Yard Barn. They removed my rotted doors. Completed rebuilt the frame and created new doors which are much sturdier. They replaced a large portion of the back of the Yard Barn which was in need of repair and put a new one in it's place. They completely painted my entire Yard Barn for me and put new strips on my siding that needed replacement. My yard Barn looks even better than it did when it was first built. Joe is very personable and easy to work with as well. Highly recommend them !!"

"Kris did an amazing job. It was a huge job he did by the book. His experience is evident in his accuracy and efficiency. Kris was onsite everyday and worked in a strategic way that there was never any lost time. He has a great eye for detail and design. You can tell he has a passion for his work. He consulted me often when changes needed to be made to the prints. Great communication during the whole project. He works excellent with DYI'ers like myself. He was patient with me and my hundred questions. He was also very flexible if I changed my mind or had an alteration to the original plan. I look forward to working with Kris again."

"The team is outstanding. Tell them what you want, get your bid, let them bring your dreams to a reality. Jolanta and Wojcich are great people to know and to work with. They are very respectful and extremely efficient. From 7:30am to 5pm, nonstop work. They clean after their work area daily. 5 weeks total. They will also help with bulk removal (extra price) if you ask. I have a rental property I own and when I’m ready to remodel that, Excellent Remodeling will be my only call."

"The name “Craftsman” is a stretch. My experience with this company was very disappointing. • The crew was careless — our basement was full of paint, and they didn’t bother laying down sheets to protect our brand-new vinyl floors. • They grabbed tools from our home (like push brooms) without asking and even washed their hands in our kitchen sink. • When asked to lay down a rug to protect the floor, they used a tiny piece that barely covered anything. • They expect prompt payment even while work is still pending. • When I couldn’t leave work for a final walkthrough, the owner showed up, got aggressive, and told my wife and child to go upstairs. Completely unprofessional. • They work very limited hours (roughly 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and don’t accommodate your schedule. • They left all their trash — filled up our garbage cans and left extra bags behind. • Their paint job was sloppy. They sprayed instead of rolling, missed tons of spots, didn’t tape anything, and got paint on outlet covers and other areas. They ended up giving us a $200 credit for the poor quality. • The contract is vague by design — he refers back to it later to say something “isn’t included.” Definitely read the fine print carefully. • Charged us an extra $3,500 for inspection delays, yet still demanded full payment before the inspection was complete. • Constantly asked for cash payments (I only paid by check). • Damaged our shuffleboard table by setting tools on top without asking. • Didn’t install quarter round on the trim and didn’t fill nail holes — just another lazy shortcut. • Claims to have 30 years of experience, but experience doesn’t mean quality or professionalism. David and Mike seem overall respectable, Larry is the issue. • Overall, they rushed through the job, missed small details, and admitted they didn’t think we’d check their work with proper lighting. Summary: Expect shortcuts, poor communication, and lack of respect for your property. Definitely not the level of quality or professionalism you’d expect from someone calling themselves a “craftsman.” Pricing is ok but keep looking as you can probably find a match with much better customer service"

"Jeff had done beautiful work at my parents house so I was excited to use him for a kitchen remodel in my first home. He is always friendly, professional, and responsive. He can handle any kind of issue that may arise, such as the need to move an unexpected vent. For our kitchen he tore down a pantry closet and the soffit, installed new flooring, cabinets, backsplash, shelving, range hood, lighting. He has great recommendations and his attention to detail is impeccable. We highly recommend Jeff and his team for your project!"
