"We hired Bill primarily because he offered a plan for repairing our sinking flagstone patio steps. We had had several other contractors out to inspect and advise. Nobody was interested in taking on this project. There was lots of conflicting advice...tear it out and start over, hire mud jackets, hire push pier operators, etc. Only Bill said he could repair the steps and return them to close to their original form. And he did it in a very clever way. He carefully removed the middle steps and drilled holes into the concrete slab until he was able to split it in half. He then used large pry bars to raise the upper portion. He filled in the gap with stones and concrete and then reinstalled the original flagstones. The end result looks very much as it did fifteen years ago when originally built. Bill advised us that in addition to the sinking patio steps, there were several other problem areas needing attention, mostly having to do with preventing water damage. But the biggest additional problem he discovered was that the brick siding on our house had been installed with no anchors to the walls!!! In some places, the brick was separating from the wall and there were gaps at the top where water could get in. Bill reinforced the brick walls with many large screws. Amazingly, you cannot even see them unless you really look close. I am so glad we discovered Vintage Stoneworks. The disasters Bill has likely saved us from are horrifying to contemplate. Thank you, Bill, for all you did to improve and protect our home."

"They were perfect. OMB was able to get me an estimate same day I requested service. They were then able to get me scheduled in for repair during the same week. The work looks incredible. They went above and beyond in their repair. I had to get the flue/exhaust for an old cast iron fireplace removed from my basement and basement wall patched up, along with a window well removed and filled with concrete. "Rich removed our old deck and replaced it with a beautiful trex deck. Beautiful iron rails and step with lighting. Incredibly beautiful. Rich redid ou bac yard with a sprinkler system and dark mulch edging. He removed dead tree branches and pulled all the weeds that had come up through the rocks under our deck. I can not tell you how truly amazing the work on the patio was. Rich used 3 feet of road base under the patio, gravel and then sand. He did a Haring bone design with the bricks. It was incredible watching him skillfully place each brick. Wow we could not be happier. The professionalism of work this company does is top notch. We added a gazebo after Rich's crew was done and spend every nice day outside. Rich gave us a beautiful new living space. He even came back this year to see that everything was good. They get the work done quickly ,show up and work very hard. I truly believe there isn't a better person out there to do your landscaping. Thank you Rich and crew. You have given us year around enjoyment."

"They built a beautiful patio brick wall for privacy incorporating some decorative concrete blocks that I bought from a reclaimed site. They did a great job and I love it. They matched up the bricks on my house so it looks like its been there all along. Highly recommend."

"I had some cracked bricks due to a foundation problem that needed to be replaced. They gave me a good price, color-matched the brick and mortar and the installation looks good. Two problems, however. They did not tell me the repair would leave an unsightly haze over the entire area that can only be cleaned off by an acid wash, nor did they offer to clean the haze off for me. They should have communicated this and offered to clean the brick after repair. I am not pushing this too much cause they gave me a good price. It just would have been nice to know. Secondly, their Home Advisor profile said they accept credit cards. After the repair, I was told cash or check only. I had to go get a check. Overall, the work performed was fine. I would just suggest anyone hiring them to ask specific questions about cleaning the brick afterwards and what forms of payments can they accept."
