"I had written off this carpet as urgently needing replacement, at least if I wasn't moving back into the property myself. It was heavily matted in traffic areas and is at least 11 years old. Nesheim's came in on time (as far as I know), did the work unsupervised, and when I showed up several days later I thought someone had installed a new carpet. Sure, it still has some of the furniture dents and other "character" that carpets pick up over time, but today it looks better than it did when I bought this house over a decade ago. The only reason I give them a B on price is that they're competitive with other estimates I got, if slightly higher, but only after a 20% discount that they've been offering for a few months. Full price would be significantly higher than other competitors, but I have no way of comparing the quality of those competitors' service. As far as I'm concerned Nesheim's are carpet wizards, and $400 to make about 1000 square feet of carpet look nearly new is a pretty good deal. I'm attaching photos of the same carpet from its previous rental listing and from today. No, sorry, the confused looking dog is not included in the cleaning."

"Caution to others, if you receive your quote via text it will likely differ (be much much higher) from what the technician quotes upon arrival for area rug cleaning. The price I was quoted via text after making the request here was more than half the cost I was quoted in person ($3/sf vs $6.50/sf). I believe that the person who quoted me likely gave me incorrect pricing, so I was in for a shock when the tech gave me pricing. It was higher but also similar to other companies I got quotes from. I chose this company because I thought their rates were more competitive, but they are more expensive. I've made the company aware of this error however so far they are unapologetic, which to me feels like the original quote I was given was not in error but intentionally misleading. Warning, there are also additional fees, for instance, you have to pay a delivery fee ($40) to get your rug back, I am opting to just go get it. Hopefully the quality of work will be good at least."

Before we committed to such a costly and long project, we requested a grout repair evaluation from the Grout Medic. Bruce, from the Grout Medic, provided a quick and easy consultation and upfront pricing appraisal. We proceeded with the Grout Medic and are extremely happy with the results. Bruce replaced the broken grout with a new hybrid material that is better suited for this particular implementation, cleaned the grout, sealed the grout and replaced all the caulking. Now, 94 days later, the shower still looks brand new; all for a fraction of the price a re-tile would have cost. Bruce and Andrea were a pleasure to work with.
