"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. His focus was on helping me understand what my options are, not selling me a service I may not need and for that I'm grateful. I will definitely call him back when the time comes."

"Mike Wagner came out very quickly because our sump pump discharge was clogged and I initially thought it would require rodding. Before starting, he said "let's take a look at the tail end of the pipe", where the water terminated to a nearby storm sewer. He quickly assessed that we did not need rodding, and the end of the pipe just needed to be cleared (had gobs of sod, mulch and even some dead frogs in it". He cleared it quickly and only charged me for a trip charge (which we found very reasonable, especially since he came out so quickly). "I had a really bad shower and toilet clog so I decided to contact flo-maxx and they sent 2 professionals, Garret and Raymond to do the job but I wasn’t sure if they would be able to clear the drain, they definitely cleared it super quick and also cleaned my floor afterwards. They finally left but there was a small leak from the toilet water line and I called them and they came back again to check it and fix it, no big deal they did great! 10/10"

"EXCELLENT! The pipe clogged on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON, of course. Water was leaking into our basement! I started looking for someone with 24 hour service, and no one could come out. Then I got a call from IL Sewer and Drain. Joe said he could be out in about an hour, it was already after 4:30 pm. He came out, and was able to unclog our pipe! But upon inspection, the pipe needed to be replaced. He was able to schedule it for the next morning! The work took a few hours, but was all finished and cleaned up! I would not hesitate to hire them again or give them an outstanding reference."

They diagnosed the problem by spending like 4 hours at my place and when we could not figure out the exact cause, they did help narrow it down to being either a broken intake pipe or high water table.
