"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"I called and left a message for South Roofing, requesting an estimate.  Within 48 hours, I received a call back and set a time to meet Rick South (owner) for an estimate and options for a replacement roof on my storage building.  He provided a detailed, written estimate via email with 24 hours of our meeting.   <br /> The cost of the solution he proposed was a bit more than I was hoping to have to spend, so I have not moved forward with any work as I'm gathering other bids and researching other solutions/options.  Nevertheless, I was grateful that Mr. South returned my call (as some roofing contractors haven't!) and followed up with a detailed written bid. <br />"

They made sure that the skirts around the skylights were sealed correctly so they would not leak. The process was also very quick; they finished in one day. "I had all the windows and gutters replaced in our home that was built in 1855. The weather over this November 2019 holiday was 45 to 55 mph winds and lots of rain and sleet, and our home sits on top of hill. No one realized it was raining nor did we hear any of the wind(no leaks and no whistling wind coming through)!! The new gutters and downspouts held up to the elements and then some (guards and larger downspouts handled the rain and it actually drained to the downspout even with the leaf guard). The home holds the temperature exceptionally well with the new windows and the added bonus of a lot less noise. The entire experience was amazing from sales to the project manager to the on-site crews to the accounts dept and the several change orders that I had during the initial part of the process. These people are TOP NOTCH, and you won’t find a better contractor. I also had a porch roof repaired and no leaks with this blowing rain. I also added the Fascia & Soffit coverings in hopes that when I was ready for the home to have new siding it would be easier. The home has unique architectural details and all the crews were mindful of these details, and never hesitated to ask questions about how I would like to proceed. I greatly appreciate all the hard work these crews did and their attention to the details, impressive group of people. I look forward to working with them in the future!"

"What an awesome experience from beginning to end!  And over the years our family has had more than one home improvement nightmare. <br />  The sales rep I first encountered was a joy to meet, smile for everyone, no 'hard' sale. As it was the holiday season, she was engaging even to the passing people and their children. A ray of sunshine amid the chaos. <br />  When Kirk came into my home to assess our needs, he was more than courteous. Conscientious of  our personal space and thoroughly explained his company's products. I am very grateful that he listened to our needs and helped us to make an appropriate selection. He made sure all available discounts were afforded to our estimate. Which, by the way, was no different than the final bill. Throughout, Kirk has followed the team from Kape. Making sure of both the progress and our satisfaction every step of the way. Even driving out of his way, mid-installation to check in on the event. <br />  The crew member were a perfect picture of efficiency!  Every member on time. They arrived in tandem and all proceeded with their jobs immediately. First  placing tarps to protect our home, through out. Then having every single supply in order and available to themselves.  <br />  Yes, I have had workmen need to use my extension cords. <br />  Not these guys! Awesomesauce!! For a job that I was prepared to take all day, they were in and out of here in a matter of hours. They even took time to indulge my disabled son. Took time to answer even his questions. Not everyone does that.  All four were very polite and exceptional to deal with. The whole time being respectful of our home. What a joyful and pleasant surprise. Right down to a fabulous job on even the clean up. Above and beyond, I would say. <br />  The change from our old windows was immediate and phenomenal! Why did we not do this sooner! <br />  With such a fine overall experience, we can hardly wait for our next project to commence with The staff from Kape Roofing and Exteriors."
