"I have a 100 year old house with a very steeply peaked roofline - hard to work on. Fascia and shingles blew off during a recent storm. Rudy & his son came out and inspected the roof and quoted the repairs, which included finding older shingles which are not currently readily on the market. Although the roof is older, and the shingles beginning to become brittle, for personal reasons, I am not presently in a position to replace the roof, and they agreed to perform maintenance, replacing missing shingles, fascia etc. for the time being. They were happy to help me out, not only replaced the fascia that blew off, but also added some to my garage. During the repair, they brought down samples of my older shingles, and discussed with me the aging factors that were present in my existing roof, advising me that they DO recommend a roof replacement within a year or two. He came out the next day, inspected the roof and gutters, and explained what needed to be done. He assured me the roof itself is sturdy and in good condition, but some of the asphalt shingles were pulling away from the roof, making it ripe for more damage. He suggested that they re-nail/seal the shingles wherever it was needed, completely seal the seams around chimney, vents, fans, etc., and clean out the gutters (some of which had vegetation growing). We agreed on a reasonable price, which included a one year warranty. He came the next morning with a sizable crew who completed the agreed upon work on the house and garage in about an hour.
