"BBC is one of my favorite stores in Milwaukee!   <br /> Where else can you go to pick out a light for your hall and also browse through an eclectic selection of vintage and modern nicknacks, sports memorabilia, old arcade fixtures (mechanical horse, turnstile, pinball machine, etc) that are tucked around the store.  There is a free popcorn truck for your snacking needs. <br /> The non-lighting items don't get in the way of the main mission of BBC, which is to sell a wide variety of lighting at discount prices. The lights range from inexpensive to high-end, traditional to extreme modern.   Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We have been completely satisfied with the service and with the many items we've bought here. <br /> Perhaps I shouldn't mention that in addition to a lot of lighting we also have bought a scale model of Lambeau Field, a handmade metal house on stilts, and a stained glass lamp in the shape of a bull lit from within. <br />"

Hal from HRU gave me the number for Horaitis electric to help me get the oven troubles solved. My mother called and the guys came over that day. They were punctual, friendly and professional. I am very pleased with service from both companies and would recommend them to anyone. They were wonderful."

"I found Sandy, the owner of Tews Glassworks & Restoration and contacted her by phone. We arranged for a very prompt drop off of my 4 foot stain glass pool table lamp. While I walked around her shop admiring the many beautiful and some unusual stain glass pieces she had on display, she looked my lamp over. After, she gave me an affordable estimate and I hired her.  She wrote me an invoice, I gave her a small deposit and left my pool table lamp in her care.  There were more broken parts than just stain glass (some metal frame work) but Sandy took on the job.  Sandy, is not a metal worker but with trials and some difficulty, she fixed the broken metal work, attached the stain glass trim to it and also replaced the broken stain glass panels. It looks great. The repair did take longer than I had expected but some of that was due to the problems she encountered with the metal parts (not being a metals person) and also due to an up coming stain glass show she was preparing for in the weeks following the project I dropped in her lap. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Her prices are reasonable & affordable, she's a very sweet person, and her work is VERY good. <br />"
