The BBB reported them as a new company (Name Changed 2x+! Why? What were they hiding?). The second company admitted that it was new and under-bid the job. I could expect to get a low-quality job and/or have them ask for more upon completion. The third company bragged about being in business for 90+ years and bid twice what the insurance company estimated for the job! They were out of my league! Then Clyde Hance called. They did a re-roofing that exceeded my goals for both quality-installation and completed-appearance. "Great experience from start to finish. Carter was a great help in navigating the initial inspection of the roof and then helping us file the claim with our insurance carrier. He then came and met with the insurance adjuster when he evaluated the roof - so that the adjuster was aware of the items that Carter identified in his initial inspection. Next, Shawna was very helpful with picking the roofing material and working through the steps up to installation. Claytonia was very helpful with the payment process, once we had received the insurance check. Within just a few days of the initial payment, the crew was here installing the new roof. They were efficient and removing and replacing the new roof - and installing a new skylight. They completed our house and my workshop in less than a day. They cleaned up, including double/triple checking to get all the nails from the removed roofing. The young man who led the roofing crew was very polite and helpful with a few things that required our participation. Then Claytonia was back once the work was done to handle the certificate of completion and getting that to our insurance company so we could receive the final payment. The experience was excellent. "Matt Ford is such an outstanding person. He is one of the most ethical and professional men I have ever met! He is very professional, but he takes a personal interest in pleasing his clients. He will stop at NOTHING to make sure you are pleased with his work. Matt replaced a carport for me after it was destroyed by the weight of snow. He worked directly with my insurance company, making sure his work was completely covered by my policy. The new carport is constructed of beautiful white metal that was manufactured precisely for my space. It is so strong that it will probably outlast my grandchild!! Originally, there was a low block wall along the outside border of my old carport, and I assumed he would replace it with blocks. Instead, he built a beautiful brick wall that matches the construction of my home. I did not even ask him to do that and had never even thought of that myself. He did it because he knew it would make the area more attractive. While at the site, he also did some repair on a storage building, and he installed a dead-bolt lock for me. In the early stages of the job, he noticed a flaw in the installation of a kitchen window that was allowing water to go behind the window casing. He repaired this for me. This is an example of my statement that he takes a personal interest in his cliens satisfaction. as the highest rating, but in my opinion, Matt deserves a 100 stars."
