"I have been using Artichoke Design on and off for over 2 years and will continue to do so. After moving from a 3700 sq ft ranch home to a 8300 sq ft ranch home I needed decorating help and advice to make sure my home, for being as large as it is, had a design flow throughout and looked comfortable. They have decorated my LR, guest bedrooms, foyer, dining room, family room, and paint color selection. I work with Judy, however when you go into their studio and store, they are all extremely helpful and bend over backwards to help you make your home beautiful. I just happened upon their store on Rangeline one day and loved everything in it. I was then told about their studio just a couple blocks down on Main Street where I knew when I walked in their door and viewed the furnishings, that this is what I want my home to look like. They have a man, Lawson, who makes gorgeous window treatments and bedding. They also use a fabulous faux finisher, Jan, who turned my dining room in a look of art, and did a half bath. She also refinished a large off-white distressed cabinet to a chocolate brown with a hint of bronze overlay. They will stay within your budget and I guarantee your home will look gorgeous."

"This is repeat business for me with Mindy. A few years ago, she did my 1/2 bath, office and part of my loft. They are beautiful. When I decided that several rooms were ready for repainting, I called Mindy back. I originally used a couple of other painters in addition to her when I first moved in. I realized that her work held up the best over the years and that I liked it the best. <br /> <br /> She is an absolute delight to work with. One of the hardest working professionals I've seen. I like that she and I were able to discuss color for my whole home before starting to paint individual rooms. Her painting is top-quality and I like the fact that she has the artist's background to be able to add some unique touches to my rooms. "We set up an appt. because you pay by the hour, she asks you to have your questions and ideas ready for her. She listened and took notes of all the things I would like to have done. Then we went over everything with her thoughts and ideas. We set up another appt to meet and go over colors, drapery ideas, etc. We have't yet met for that appt. It is scheduled for this week. I really really liked Tina when I met her. She works with your taste and she doesn't want to get rid of everything and start from scratch. She is fantastic with visualization and explaining to you what works and why. She made a couple of recommendations on site and they worked beautifully. From her recommendations, I have gotten estimates from both the her trim carpenter and drapery. They were both very professional, extremely pleasant to work with and on time. Tina listens to what you want. I have worked with 2-3 different designers in my home but Tina is FANTASTIC. She also passes any retail discount on to the customer. We are slowly going room by room and I am very excited and I highly recommend her!!!!!!!"
