"The rep was prompt in arriving for the in-house appointment to give me a bid for services. The presentation was fine, to the point without pressure, focusing on their quality work (which was in line with some personal contacts I had made). After getting this and other bids and making the comparisons of price and windows supplies (researched manufacturers on line) I decided to use a different vendor. With an Angie's List coupon, which I had mentioned when I made the appointment, I was to receive a Casey's gift card for getting the in-house meeting. The rep said they were out at the moment but would send the card wether or not I selected Home Town, just as the Angie's List ad promised. That was in September. Sad to say, I never received the Casey's gift card. The card was a small perk to contacting a company I would have contacted anyway. It was a surprise and small disappointing result. Would I hire again? I marked Yes, but that is subject to research and comparing bids."

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. "It went well. Bob was the most reasonable out of all of the bids that I received, he also allowed us to purchase a lot of the materials ourselves, which ended up saving us money with rebates. He also thought to rent a port-a-john as we were going to be without our only bathroom for at least 2 weeks, which turned out to be an absolute necessity. Once the project was started, Bob was really good about calling me either every day or every other day to keep me in the loop on where they were at project wise. His team was good about cleaning up after themselves and was always professional. <br /> When I say gutted our bathroom, I mean that literally - it was tore out down to the studs with all new drywall, tub/shower surround, flooring, vanity and cabinets. The bathroom is amazing - showroom beautiful for sure. <br /> Bob was great about advising me on different things that he could do that would assist with the improvements - such as using the remaining tile in our little laundry area rather than the vinyl - he thought this would create a more stable environment, especially because with the age of our home, being level just wasn't something that came easy. <br /> I did have Bob come back after the work was complete for just a couple of minor issues, such as a tightening of a faucet and a minor vinyl correction, that he took care of immediately. I would highly recommend Bob and his son, Robert for any project and Bob's Home Improvement will be my first call for any future home improvement projects. <br />"

"Eric, who works with Kevin, arrived promptly on a very hot day and took down an old basketball hoop, jackhammered out the old cement, dug a deeper post hole required for a new hoop, and installed the new hoop anchor and poured cement. It seems like a simple job, but he and his helper were working for five or six hours straight and it was hard work. The anchor was perfectly even, resulting in a straight pole and hoop when the company came to install the new hoop on the anchor. One Call does it right."

"When first contacted for a bid on the work, Done Done Services was prompt in providing the estimate. Initially my elderly Mother-in-Law did not want to deal with moving out furniture and elected to do the minimum necessary to repair the damage. Once the work began, however, it was evident that more work needed to be done to correctly repair the damage. Pat Freilinger, the owner, and the assigned workman, Chris, convinced my Mother-in-Law that they should do what was necessary to do the job right. In the end Chris did a fantastic job removing wall paper in the entire room, repairing plaster, sealing cracks, and painting the room. The work was done on a timely basis and the end result was fantastic. Both Chris and Pat kept us informed of the progress and Chris helped my Mother-in-Law put the room back together when all of the work was finished. I would not hesitate to recommend Done Done Services for similar work."
