Diagnosed the long term problem with the Amana gas cooktop as a ele tric starter module going bad. He was able to temporarily fix the igniter for auto flame starting. "It was time to retire our faithful 27-year-old GE 30” cabinet-mounted double oven. We chose a new GE Profile oven with left-hand swing doors. Owner Scott Elliot arrived on-time with his two experienced assistants. Their large trailer contained every tool and lifting aid needed for a complicated install of the 300+ -lb oven. They dealt with two surprises: a protruding electric junction box, way in the back to remove and re-wire; and the top cabinet crossbar required a Sabre-saw trim-up to fit in the new oven. Both expertly done. He took ( and showed us) inside-oven level readings to assure us that multi-layer cakes would come out uniformly level, not slanted. Scott was fastidious about installation of the stainless steel trim pieces, getting them perfectly level and aligned with the perfectly installed oven. Flawless work, done by polite and professional pros!"

Reached out to this company over the weekend. I received a call back Monday morning and a Wednesday morning appointment was scheduled. None of our repairs were an emergency (unless you consider a wine cooler not cooling an emergency!).

Alex was great! he called before arriving so I knew when he'd be here. He took a quick look at the two appliances I was concerned about and was very quickly able to ascertain that they were fine.  With regards to the upright freezer he confirmed the problem was simply a blocked condensation line that we can easily unblock by defrosting ourselves and flushing the hose.  He offered to do the work but since we know how to do that we'll take care of it ourselves.  We wanted a technician to have a look in case it was something else but it is a simple fix, albeit one that is a pain to have to do a couple of times a year!  The wine cooler however had stopped cooling and as it turns out it is not an easy fix, nor an inexpensive one.  It will cost as much to repair the compressor as it did for us to buy the unit brand new so we're opting to replace with a new unit instead.  In total Alex was here for about 45 minutes.

I truly appreciated that Alex was upfront about the issues, offered us options, and didn't just go ahead and do work that was costly or unnecessary.  Given that we are not "DIY-ers" with regards to appliance repair, I wouldn't have known what was reasonable or not so again, I very much appreciated his honesty.
