"Completely unexpected 13 days from first contact until roof completed. Living in Colorado most homeowners have had experience dealing with a hail damaged roof. The process doesn't always go quick and clean. We were approached by Patrick Quinn and Andrew Rode about possible hail damage to our roof on 4-13. They completed a pre-inspection to make sure we had damage, and even helped phone in an insurance claim. They were here when the adjuster did his inspection to point out areas of damage that the adjuster might miss. They came back again, to go over the estimate provided by our insurance company and schedule the work. E-mail with crew and dumpster arrival times, tips for keeping items on our interior walls, vehicles and our dog safe were sent the night before. Crew arrived bright and early and immediately began to protect the perimeter from falling debris. In all our checks on the progress of the crew, each time we found a solid team working with precision and skill. Each phase from tear off, pounding in nails before felt placement, drip edge and vent replacement and finally the installation of our new impact resistant shingles went smoothly. We could tell that the work being done was consistent because there was a "shave and a haircut" sound pattern from the nail guns being used. Clean up of the perimeter was thorough and included the big magnet to pick up those stray nails. I haven't found one stray nail in my yard, that is awesome. Andrew followed up with the completed certificate for our insurance company, so hopefully our premiums will go down. "It all went very well. Chris came out for an estimate and noticed significant hail damage that resulted in insurance paying for most of the cost. He was very helpful all the way through, even being onsite when the Adjuster came to make sure he got everything, including gutter damage. During installation, the crew even helped remove an old swamp cooler and furnace flu and covered the holes with new sheeting. Very friendly group that had it all done in 2 days."

"They helped a lot with getting through insurance hassles and pushing to get the entire roof repair covered. Once everything got approved there were a couple scheduling conflicts on both sides. They did accommodate us on timing to not conflict with a toddlers nap schedule. There were a few small items left unfinished that took some time to get completed, but they did come out and address everything."

"The leak is fixed and that is the major thing. But it took several phone calls from me to get them to respond and reschedule the final pieces of the job. It is true that a wet spring/summer and big storms with hail have limited the company's time they can get on roofs, and increased the numer of jobs they've taken on. So, to some extent, the excuses were warranted as to why it wasn't being finished, etc. And there were phone messages from the company to let me know they wouldn't be coming out on a particular day. That doesn't change the fact that I had to do the chasing to get them to come back and finish the job. Part of our pricing deal included bringing in someone to replace the window trim Ron pulled off to get to the leak. Two months and more than three phone calls later, it was still not done. Finally, after my latest phone call, Ron came out to replace the window trim himself, but Ron is a roofer and not a trim worker. He hammered up a piece of wood, recessed behind the rest of the trim and not matching up with the bottoms of the exposed side trim on the windows. Again, the leak is fixed, the roof is holding and that is the major thing we hired them to do. But our payment agreement included putting the window back with trim to match and that has not been done. And the number of times I had to call to try to get the job done is infuriating. If I had written this reveiw the week after our garage was dry, I'd have given them a better grade. But we'll have to come up with another solution to our trim and pay for it ourselves."

"Gary, was very helpful and pointed me on the right direction after I had discussed my concerns. Had he been able to help me I would have gladly hired him. My system ended up being under warranty and he suggested I contact the manufacture as to not void my warranty."

"The work was completed in the time frame he said it would be, of coarse weather permitting. The roof shingles were above standard Class4 Owens Corning, the other companies wouldn't tell me what grade they would install. The paint job included a base coat of  Kilz then 2 coats on top, the 2nd coat is a different color from the final house color, so you can see they are actually applying several coats.

We couldn't be any happier with the choice we made with Climax. Our house looks great for years to come, they met and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We highly recommend Climax!  "
