"The owner of Ariat Roofing and his son came out a couple days after we called and provided us a detailed estimate for either a repair of the leaking area of our roof or a complete replacement of the felt and broken tiles. The repair estimate came with a 2 year guarantee and the replacement with a 10 year guarantee. They also said they would come out and remove tiles as needed when the house needed exterior painting. We went with the complete replacement since our roof was almost 30 years old and the old felt was brittle and we were having leaks. The estimate was for a 3 to 3.5 day job. The crew showed up when scheduled and worked through the day. They cleaned up the area each day and even looked for any nails that fell off the roof as they removed the tiles. They finished in about 3.5 days. All the metal flashings and edging on the roof was replaced. The felt is double thick and it is overlapping. The replacement flashing, edging, and the felt were all heavier duty or quality than the original. Overall, I was very pleased with the workmanship and in fact the roof looks much better than the original. Also, the tiles are much better secured to the roof than before this work was done."

The professional person who came out did an excellent job. He hauled away all the piping that had been on the roof. He explained everything he had accomplished. "I purchased the service special. He missed the day we had scheduled because he forgot to put it in his book. He came out the next day and he was delayed, though he informed me that he would be late because he had back pain and went to the doctor. I was surprised that he left without telling me he was done.
It's hard to rate the quality of the work he did, but I felt I paid $75 for nothing. 
I understand he was having back pain and having issues, but it was an overall odd experience. He missed an appointment, was late for the next one and then left without going over what he did to me. When I contacted him later, he told me he was kind of embarrassed and said he'd give me a free service when I'm next due, in 2-3 years.
I'll pass on using this business again. I did get the sense he is honest but i ultimately don't think I got any value for my money and it was laughable that he said he'd give me a free service in 2-3 years. I can't wait to call and ask for that. I got no receipt or anything.

"initial estimate was reasonable. From my first contact with Dallas at Source 1 roofing, it has been a painless and pleasant experience. I found the company on Angie’s list. First place I called and I didn’t even call anyone else as he came over immediately. The estimate was very honest and fair. The roof was evaluated and he was able to explain the process in detail and why my roof was leaking. I accepted the quote immediately and then put off scheduling for a few weeks due to the COVID-19, thinking that maybe they would not be working. Dallas contacted me and I set up the appointment that week with the very knowledgeable and helpful Office Manager, Jessica. She kept me updated until the materials were scheduled for delivery and I had my appointment set up. They were ahead of schedule so the work began the day after dropping off the materials. Very pleasant workers showed up, Anthony and Giovanni. Absolutely polite and explained in depth what they were doing, even showing me what the previous people had done that was substandard and caused the leak. They replaced rotted wood and it was very obvious that I was in good hands. The job was extremely thorough, no rush job. They went above and beyond what I was expecting. At the close of the job, they cleaned the whole roof and any left over repair mess; you would have no idea they had just worked on such an extensive repair. I have every confidence that my roof is now in good repair, taking a lot of stress and worry off my plate every time it rains.
