"Well, we got a new roof. Was it stress free? No. They stripped off the shingles on a Friday, leaving us to wonder over the weekend whether they were going to replace the tarpaper, or not. They did indeed replace the underlayment on Monday. They stripped the roof on Friday, including all the attic vents and flapper vents, leaving them open and exposed over the weekend. We asked them to cover the holes to prevent squirrels or birds from entering, and they promised to do so, but ultimately didn't cover them. Not sure if a family of squirrels is living in my attic or not. I hope not. We're they punctual? No. The Willamette Valley was going through a miserable heat wave, and they were way behind on other projects. They asked if they could start at 7am or earlier, and even though it meant getting our dogs up a lot earlier than usual, we agreed. After all, safety first, and my wife and I were both on the roof the weeks prior doing some painting, and were were definitely sympathetic. But on Friday and Monday, they didn't arrive until 9:30am, so all that was for naught. Tuesday they started at 8:10am, and Wednesday, they actually did start at 7am. All told, it took 4 days, with a weekend in the middle. Were they good at cleaning up? Not really. After the first day, we found about a dozen nails in the driveway, parking strip, lawn, and flower beds. Little bits to tarpaper all over. After that, we insisted that that everything be tarped. But of course the tarps were full of holes, and not effective. Instead of sweeping up the dusty bits from the shingles (as recommended by the Malarkey Factory), which I understand contain lots of silica and other hazardous matter, they used a leaf blower from the roof to scatter it all over the place. That means they blew that stuff all over my vegetable garden. The excuse provided was "if we had to sweep, it would have added an extra day". More disappointing, is that I didn't think about our new AC compressor - I didn't put plywood over it until the 2nd day, so it's now full of bits of stuff. I would have expected they would have taken care of that. They did work really **** ** the last day cleaning up. But I'm still not parking in our driveway until my new nail sweeper arrives from Amazon this week. Did they do what I would consider a 'quality job'? Did I see evidence of pride in workmanship? Not really. We have concerns regarding the drip edge being wide enough on the fascia where the gutters go. They installed 1.5" drip edge on the gutter fascia, and on a run of 20+ feet, I have reservations whether that is sufficient to allow for enough slope in the gutters, and still protect the fascia. His excuse was "that's how we've done it for thirty years". I don't buy it. The reason I don't buy it is they brought a bunch of 3x3 drip edge the first day, but it was the wrong color, so they didn't use it. So I know it exists. The cuts on most of the drip edge corners are about 1 to 2" inches apart. His excuse was "the gutter will hide it". On the very front of the house - the thing people see first, they spliced in a 1 foot piece of drip edge (looks awful) - and didn't even cut it at the same angles! See pictures. No visible evidence of pride in workmanship on this project. But we do have a new roof, and I'm glad this is behind us."

"Dr Roof fixed a problem we had, and applied moss treatment on our tile roof. A heavy rain followed too soon after the treatment, so they came back at the first dry spell (several MONTHS later -- this is Oregon) and retreated our roof. We weren't charged extra, and we weren't expected to pay until the 2nd treatment worked. THAT is professional treatment of your customers! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR ROOF!"

I would and have recommended them to anyone without hesitation. Oleg owns the company, does the estimates, and actually works on the project himself with the help of his brothers. It's pretty rare to have that. Because of that, there are no misunderstandings and the work is high-quality. The guy who is on site working is the same guy who outlined the project, the boss of the company, and cares about their reputation. If anything comes up during the project - which it did - it's much more efficient and reassuring to have Oleg right there to speak with and help walk you through the options. M Brothers did new siding, new windows, new window trim, paint, and even some framing work for us after they discovered rotted architectural lumber behind the old siding during the project. Oleg had warned us that there was a possibility that we would find those structural issues once they got behind the siding, and sure enough, there were. Once they found the issues and showed us, Oleg gave us a price for the additional work. Even though we were in a corner at that point, the price was fair and in-line with the prices for the work we had originally agreed to. They even had to replace a 6x12 beam above our front door that was rotted 2/3rds of the way through! I think some less-able companies with less integrity might have bailed upon the discovery of that rotten beam, ignored it, or would have had to call someone else, but M Brothers alerted us to it and handled it! They had to jack up the front of the house to get the old beam out and the new beam in. Quite a feat and thank goodness because now we know the structure behind all this new new work is sound. The new windows, siding, trim, and paint look fabulous. Alex even recommended the paint color for us. This whole project started when we discovered a leak in our house. Even though the project grew way bigger than we ever anticipated when we discovered that leak, we are so happy with the end result. The look, quality, and integrity of the whole house are improved and we can sleep better at night knowing that this part of our house - that takes the brunt of the sun and weather - is built to last more than another 30 years. "The accent shingles on my house were very dirty and the paint on my front door was blistering and chipping away. I wanted the two to be a single color complementing the color of the house. I got bids from several contractors; all were pretty much in line with each other in terms of prices. There were two factors in my choice to go with Absolute Painting an Power Washing. First, the reviews I read from various sources shows their quality is stellar; second, their color consultant spent the time necessary with me to choose the right color ( not included in the bid ). They spent two full days stripping the door of its old paint, and then prepping and applying primer and paint to the shingles and door. When all was done, I was amazed at how it turned out. The new accent colors added character to the house. Their workmanship is second to none with no flaws in the areas they painted. They even went as far as providing touch up to the trim where paint had chipped off over the years. When I'm ready for the house to be fully repainted, I now know who to turn to."

"Ron did a fantastic job in rebuilding my front porch!  It was a difficult project in that someone else had rebuilt it about a year ago and really did a very, very poor job, using incorrect materials and having little construction skills.  Ron took the whole thing down, and started by strengthening and rebuilding the framework itself (it's attached to the front of my house).  Throughout the entire project, he explained about different materials he could use and methods he could do, and asked me what my preferences were.  He even brought over different types of wood and stains so I could see them in person and make a choice.  I have an older home, and several construction companies told me they either did not want to or didn't know how to rebuild my porch. Ron never hesitated in accepting this job and in fact stated he enjoyed doing this type of work.  He always kept in touch before he even started the job to let me know how close he was to being able to start it.
