"The job started off with the installer not showing up and the contact person, Joe, not knowing why. Turns out, the installer's wife was in contact with someone who had Covid, so he was getting tested. No problem there, except for not notifying anyone. Next, when they did get an installer the following day, the material was not here, when it arrives, it is the wrong size and delays the job again. The job that was supposed to be completed by Thursday, was not done until Saturday. This delay also forced us to stay out of the house for an additional day (at my expense). Though informed of a possible reduction in the cost in compensation for the aggravation, none was given."

"Eugene is so capable, talented and amazing! He single handedly put all of our furniture out of the way so he can start installing our floor. He removed the toilet to install the floor and FIX OUR TOILET! He then removed our refrigerator, range, and dishwasher ALL BY HIMSELF!! He originally told me he would have my floor done in 5 days but finished in 3 days. Before he left I asked him to give me an estimate for our carpeted area. We will have him install our carpet next. We requested some little things he even went right to Home Depot to help us finish the job. I will highly recommend using Flooring Pro Inc. "Gary came to our house to give us an estimate on a carpet installation for our basement. He recommended Carpet Outlet in Portland to purchase the carpet and he would pick up the carpet and pad and complete the installation. He was prompt and courteous and did a very professional job. He took his time measuring out the basement so we wouldn't have to pay for excess carpeting. We had other carpet companies come to the house--Gary did the job with 6 square yards less than what we were quoted by other companies and we saved over $500 by using Gary and Carpet Outlet!

"We just moved back in after they refinished our oak and walnut floors and the job was done exceptionally well. Their communication was top notch and the job was done as agreed upon and on time. I also feel the price was very fair and although they were not the cheapest we felt most comfortable with the options they offered and could tell they new what they were doing and we were right. And when I say, "not the cheapest" they were very close in price as the other three contractors we spoke with. The floors look better than new and they were quite beat up after raising two kids and having three grands over the last 24 years plus the dogs. Do we recommend? Absolutely.
