"When last year's hail and windstorm damaged our roof, we knew it needed to be replaced. We took our time interviewing five different roofing contractors. After narrowing it down to the last three, we chose Bulldog over the other more 'well-established' roofers because of how thorough Bulldog was with every single detail. Filing an insurance claim can be overwhelming, but Darby and Tyler met our insurance adjuster on site and then spent a lot of time helping me understand the insurance estimate. Once Darby and his crew showed up on site, it was like a swarm of bees took over our property. Every person, to the person, was motivated and focused on our job. Incredibly professional and polite and after each day, they thoroughly cleaned up the job site as if the property was their own! Darby was there during the entire 4 day job watching every detail of the work and was always available to answer questions. It was clear that he had the respect of his crew and that surely was due to the respect he had for them. To watch the way he interacted with his crew was really amazing. He wasn't just managing our project, he was managing the people that represent him and the company and it was clear that he admired and respected the work they did. When we did the final walk through, Darby was very insistent on completing everything on the final punch list so that it was perfect. It was as if he was working on his own Dad's house! Even though I just met Darby, he treated me with so much respect and care....just like he does with his entire crew. I honestly don't know if there could have been a better person for our project. I have nothing but praise for Bulldog roofing, but even more praise for the guy that IS Bulldog roofing to me. Darby, you'r simply the best and I'm so proud of how you do your business. They explain all about roofing, product, if there will be any extra cost wood, look in your attic for damages, 3d pictures of your roof how it will look like after it's been done. Added extra ventilation where needed. Clean up was great. I have Dish, they paid the cost to have Dish come back out. There was no surprises! They delivered product one day, next day they removed old wood and replaced with new and extra ventilation. It's just beautiful! They went beyond did extra safety steps for the customer. My roof looks great, beautiful and I can't stop looking at it. We have the roof for Idaho weather not California. The cost is high but you will have a nice product you will not have to worry about for a very very long time. I would recommend this company they are a top quality roofing company."

"Completely unexpected 13 days from first contact until roof completed. Living in Colorado most homeowners have had experience dealing with a hail damaged roof. The process doesn't always go quick and clean. We were approached by Patrick Quinn and Andrew Rode about possible hail damage to our roof on 4-13. They completed a pre-inspection to make sure we had damage, and even helped phone in an insurance claim. They were here when the adjuster did his inspection to point out areas of damage that the adjuster might miss. They came back again, to go over the estimate provided by our insurance company and schedule the work. E-mail with crew and dumpster arrival times, tips for keeping items on our interior walls, vehicles and our dog safe were sent the night before. Crew arrived bright and early and immediately began to protect the perimeter from falling debris. In all our checks on the progress of the crew, each time we found a solid team working with precision and skill. Each phase from tear off, pounding in nails before felt placement, drip edge and vent replacement and finally the installation of our new impact resistant shingles went smoothly. We could tell that the work being done was consistent because there was a "shave and a haircut" sound pattern from the nail guns being used. Clean up of the perimeter was thorough and included the big magnet to pick up those stray nails. I haven't found one stray nail in my yard, that is awesome. Andrew followed up with the completed certificate for our insurance company, so hopefully our premiums will go down. "I needed to hire a company to do the roof replacement on my house, that I was selling. From the first phone conversation, I felt at ease and like Brian "cared" about what I needed, and of my concerns. They removed two layers of shingles, down to the wood, they called me a couple of times with "meeting code" issues I had no idea about... so they also corrected venting shortfalls on the roof, with nicer more efficient vents. They pulled off a rotting board and replaced it with a new one on the eaves, and then painted it as well! Having had several conversations with Brian, through the course of all this, and as they progressed, seeing the pictures of the work that had been done, I began to wonder if they couldn't fix the downspouts on the gutters which had, through the years, come loose...YUP, done and DONE, then I needed to fix a window in the master bath and poof, it was fixed including framing, around the outside...better than I could have even imagined! Being out of town added to the angst of hiring the "right" company, to do the repairs I needed, to get the house on the market... Colorado Native excelled! "The short version: These guys are pros. Fast work, good pricing, excellent quality, dotted all the t's and i's. Don't hesitate to hire them. The long version: I received quotes from 4 different companies. Greenpoint wasn't the least expensive, but they were very competitive. What sold me was the professionalism. Scott B., the owner, knows what he's doing and runs a very tight ship. Of the 4 bids I got, two were downright sketchy (one said: 'let me get your insurance company to pay for that, it doesn't matter that there's no actual hail damage..we're good at this'; or the guy who said: 'oh man..I'm sorry, that quote was supposed to be $1000 higher! I've never done that in the 20 years I've been in this business'. Right. You will NOT get that from Greenpoint. They give you BBB ratings, a list of references to call, all their insurance and other liability coverage paperwork up front. They handle all permits and the City (and it's costs are in the bid). They consult with you to get the best color choices (i wanted a green roof on a house with a pinkish brick- bad idea; he didn't try to talk me out of it, he just talked me through it, thank goodness). Last, I had a second house (rental) that's getting up there in years. I asked Scott to take a look at the roof. His response: "You've got 5 more years on this, you don't need a new roof... but you have some things you could fix.. nails that are sticking up and not sealed, a leak that's causing damage to the back porch roof'. What did he do then? With any prompting from me, he offered to, and then actually come back later that day with one of his folks, and he fixed the nails and the leak over the back porch, pro bono (a 'thank you for your business' gesture). It was only 15 minutes of work, but it was easy for him to do, he said he'd do it, then he actually did it, fast, and professionally. It's simple: If you're putting on a new roof, hire this company to do it. Period."
