"Initially we were going to go with an alternate company that had better price on the unit, until we spoke to sales rep for CK. He was prompt, knowledgeable and he gave us informational booklets that we could keep to review. He returned our calls in a timely manner if we had additional questions, <strong>without hesitation</strong>. (not all of the companies did this) We also appreciated that although he showed enthusiasm to gain our business...he was not pushy (big plus as I DO NOT like pushy sales people) He did follow up with us prior to us making the decision, but again, it did not come off pushy. <br /> <br />Getting the unit installed was a great experience as well!! Jon & Jed were our techs, and even though Jon was training the other tech , they stayed on schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of our home. Upon completion, Jon gave us a run down of all they did & showed us how to use and maintain our unit. He was great! I am very pleased!!! <br />"

"Initially it was rough as they sent me bills before even providing the service, which I thought pretty bold of a company that had no history with me. Then come May, I returned from out of town to see dandelions growing like crazy in my lawn. I contacted them and informed them of my displeasure, but they came the next day and applied the pesticide to my lawn. I understand that ambient temperatures have to reach a certain point before pesticides will be effective, hence they could not provide a sold ETA for the date of service. <br /> But the pesticide did as promised and come Fall they returned again to do the Fall application. The online payment processing registration was a bit problematic, but I sent prompt payment and am happy with the service so far and will continue with them. <br />"

"I am very happy with the service I have gotten from SWi. They didn't just put up my fence they made sure I was happy with the work they did. You know you have chosen the right company when they come back a year after you have paid them to take care of any problem. I am also very happy with the sprinkler system they installed. I highly recommend SWi. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Etna, WY

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
