"I telephoned TRCI in late September/early October 2012 and Larry indicated that his schedule was full until 10/27/2012. I made an appointment with TRCI for that date for morning service. At 2:00 on the afternoon of 10/27/2012, the service man had not yet arrived. I phoned TRCI and spoke with the after hours answering service. She indicted that Larry had lost his day planner and was not able to get in touch with his customers. She took my number and Larry called shortly after. He was not able to come on 10/27/2012 as planned so we rescheduled for 11/10/2012, the next date I had available. The week of that appointment, Larry telephoned me wanting to reschedule yet again. I indicated that I had no other Saturday dates available to me until December. I asked if I needed to locate another company to perform the work. He indicted that I did not and did arrive on 11/10/2012 at the time promised. Regarding the actual work, Larry was very thorough. He inspected and cleaned the chimney and even patched a few areas with mortar. He made suggestions on sealing the outside of the chimney next to the siding and provided an estimate if I desired him to do the work. He replaced the metal flue cap which had completely rusted and which was not the correct size for my flue. The entire job took approximately 90 minutes. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about his work. He cleaned up as he went along and there was no dust in my home from the chimney cleaning. I felt the price was fair even though I had had no prior experience with a chimney sweep service. Overall, despite the bump in the road over scheduling, I would use TRCI again next year for my chimney inspection/cleaning needs. <br />"
