Mick was in and out of our house for almost a year between all of the various projects he completed, I can't think of a thing to complain about. He's focused, detailed, flexible, reasonably priced and a genuinely good person. On top of that, his work is beautiful. If he patches a wall (even a large patch), you'd never guess that there was a hole in the first place. When we decided on handmade tile for our shower, he laid the tile methodically so that the natural variations in height flowed seamlessly. Our bathroom cabinets had to fit in a tight space, and his measurements were spot on. I didn't take us long to realize that we could trust him with any project in his wheelhouse, which took a big weight off of us as homeowners. Finally, when the inevitable hiccups did occur (just a regular part of remodeling), he was happy to sit down with us and find the right solution. He was also unerringly patient and friendly when I asked him to explain a piece of the project to me in further detail. He will guide you through a project, but still leave you feeling like a partner. Truly, I can't say enough good things. We recommend him with no reservations. "I was very impressed with the service that I received from Jim. I worked through my contractor to choose a remnant of a piece of granite. We got plenty of time to browse. We always had help whenever we needed it, without anyone being pushy. We found one that I liked. In the process, a mistake was made and the piece that I had picked out could not be used. It was an innocent mistake that happens when humans are involved, and my contractor said that this was the first time in many years that she has encountered such an event with them. Jim personally helped us pick out an even better piece for no extra cost. He made sure their shop cut it and polished it lickety split. The granite that we eventually received is stunning! The workmanship is perfect. The sinks were mounted well. All the faucet holes were lined up as we had requested. They oriented the cuts so the best features were showing.
