"I contacted Todd by email.  We set up an appointment for him to come by the house to take measurements, discuss the project and potential timeframe of when he could start.  He also showed us pictures of decks he had previously built.  Todd sent the estimate by email and even spoke with the building inspector for the city to see if the inspector had any concerns with the cable rail system.  I accepted his estimate with the understanding that he had committed to finishing two jobs before he could start on my deck.  I'm glad I waited.  The deck looks great.  This was the first time he used a stainless steel cable deck system and it looks fantastic.
