"George came to do a repair for me back in April 2022 where water was leaking into my wall around the chimney. His quality of work and honest communication about the problem and explanation of what he did to fix it made me feel comfortable hiring him back to replace the whole roof. I contacted Samantha and heard back quickly about getting an estimate. The contract is very thorough and professional, and George dropped of a book of shingle samples for me to select a color. The new roof comes with a long-term warranty that Samantha helped submit for me once the job was done. When the crew showed up for the roof replacement, they were very polite and worked fast, putting in a long first day, then completing the job on Day Two. At the end of the first day they took the time to make sure the fenced area for my dogs was clear of any dangerous debris so I could let them outside without worrying even though the job was still in progress, which I really appreciated, and they did a great job cleaning up everything once the job was done. The roof looks great, and the final price was exactly what they had estimated, even though there were a few places that required some extra repair (bad underlying wood). George even took the time to fix a downspout he saw that was attached incorrectly from work I had done by another contractor a few years ago. All in all, the quality of work seems great, the crew was fast and polite (even when one worker was stung by bees they found living under my porch roof! — appreciate that they made me aware of that issue), and I have already recommended George and his team to a neighbor and another friend in the few days since they were here. For reference, my house is a 3BR 1920 Craftsman/bungalow style (for size/style reference related to cost)."

"M&D was a joy to work with and did excellent work! We had a leak on our roof near the chimney that caused the ceiling to fall down. After contacting several roofers who either didn't work on tile roofs, were too booked up, or never provided quotes, we finally found Mario, who swooped in like a superhero to save the day! Not only was he understanding of the situation but he was willing to work with us to make sure he stopped the leak and future-proofed the area for years to come. He showed us pictures of the problem areas and walked us through the repair process step by step. When it was time to do the actual repair, we knew Mario had his work cut out for him but he made the process seem so easy and got it done within a day and cleaned up great. His work was so good (on a tile roof!), that it was almost hard to tell the difference between his repairs and the original work! We were very impressed with the work (it speaks for itself!) and Mario in general because he truly was a man of his word who went above and beyond the call of duty. We'll definitely be calling M&D in the future for maintenance since they're the only ones we would trust our roof to."
