"I believe this service call went very well.  My basement was flooded up to 4 feet in the rain on 8/11/14 (Monday), the Furnace and A/C was shut off at the time so it wouldn't activate during the flood.  After the water left my basement, the A/C seemed to work by Tuesday evening.  However, by Thursday evening I realized that there was a problem with the unit.  I went down the list for Angie's List service provider, but all the service providers were giving me dates for the next week to take a first look. <br /> Previously, I had not heard of McCarver Mechanical.  But they had an A rating, so I decided to call them.  Joe, the technician was able to come out the same day and diagnose the problem.  He was methodical and thorough.  The technician needed to get the parts but it was late Friday afternoon.  He said could schedule the repairs for Monday morning.  A two man crew came out early for the 8 AM appointment, which I appreciated because my work schedule was severely affected the previous week due to cleaning up due to the flood. <br /> The work was complete within an hour.  They were courteous, punctual, professional.  Considering I thought I might be replacing my entire furnace, I believe $690, which included to visits, was very fair.  I would highly recommend them and will call them for any future heating and cooling issues. <br /> <br /> <br />"
