"Gerry and his crew built us a screened in covered porch/deck. It was a great choice. The crew worked hard and and finished the work in a couple of weeks. The deck is a huge improvement over what we had before, and exactly what we were looking for. The construction is solid and well built. Working with Gerry is easy, and very straightforward, I absolutely recommend DDK!"

"We had a hard time getting anyone to just show up to get a price to work on our deck. After Facebook and neighborhood recommendations didn’t pan out, we turned to Angies list and found Ken at Magnolia Construction. He came out and helped identify the problem areas with our sagging deck on a steep mountain grade and came up with a solution and at a price that would guarantee the longevity of our mountain log home. He sent pictures as work progressed (we were out of town while work was performed) so we felt comfortable that the work that was recommended by our engineer was going to be repaired beyond our expectations. They did a great job and was very professional."

"Oleg did a great job reinforcing the posts for our covered front porch! The whole process from initial communication to the day the work was done was smooth. If we have any carpentry needs in the future he'd be the first person we'd call."

"Dylon is a very knowledgeable and skilled expert across many mechanical systems, and is ready to service fireplaces as he did for us or furnaces or boilers or plumbing systems he knows electrical he knows natural gas, he just knows his stuff. His reliable and his work as high-quality."

"I give B&A Home Improvement my highest recommendation. These individuals are professional, kind, and have a top-notch work ethic. Recently, they were hired to move some brush and logs on the property. I was very impressed with how they went the extra mile and manicured the far end of the yard after the removal of the brush. Ultimately, they removed over 50 years of the accumulation of leaves and other bio-sediment on the far end of the yard; therefore, restoring the yard to how it was in the 1970's! In other words, their work enabled the reclamation of the yard to which I am very grateful! If you are looking for yard maintenance, helping with landscape issues, or other needs, call this company as they are the absolute best in Western North Carolina."

"I was so fortunate to have found Michael Lyda! He responded and completed my LVP flooring installation within 5 days of our initial contact. He always responded immediately to my texts or calls and his work was excellent, fast, tidy and reasonably priced. I will not hesitate to hire Lyda for future projects. Michael, with co worker Scott are friendly, reliable AND professional."

"Much more than a complete siding job. Pergo flooring throughout the entire house, replacing 26 year old carpet. We had a new porch build with a roof fence built, another porch refurbished, inside work. After seeing the skill level we added more work we wanted to complete like tree removal, new security light, porch ceiling fan etc…we love our new oasis. Would recommend for any job big or small!"

"Josh was impressive from the very beginning. I needed to repair deck boards from several decks that had failed or discolored due to sun exposure or other issues. It was a bit complicated because the failed boards were along the deck perimeter and required the dismantling of deck railing and other parts. Josh found the sole manufacturer of the boards (in Canada) and located distributers in the US and sorted out the delivery logistics...not a fun task. He called me and we discussed various options and came to an agreement on the cost and timing which I thought was very reasonable. Josh didn't require money up front and I knew he was a man of his word, and he clearly knew how to handle and manage the work. Josh and his team arrived on the agreed date and completed the work in two days. They did an impressive job and made some changes that were improvements over the original installation. They also uncovered a few minor construction issues which they repaired. Josh is top of my call list!"

"I got the date wrong and had not removed furniture from 2 porches, but he handled it and did a great job!"

"Efficient, professional and reasonable in pricing. Will use again with every project. My deck was totally replaced and it could not look any better. Great job. Thank you."
